Easy folder system. You can make a folder, give it a name and icon. Add an option that lets you view shaders, or just while viewing it in the cosmetics menu, you can long press a button while your cursor is on a shader to bring up a list of folders you've made and can assign that shader to one. When you are inspecting a piece of gear at the shaders menu, you can select from all or select from a folder.
I made some super rudimentary illustrations a long time ago in mspaint of what they could look like.

2 RepliesCan we just get rid of shaders and have a color grid?

I’d take a favourites section at this stage. You can store 20 of your favourites

1 ReplyThe problem is the game has to be super dumbed down to support consoles. So they are certainly not going to add any kind of folder system. The best we can hope for is a way to tag some shaders as "favorites" like they did with Finisher moves.

Dude, it's been 6+ years and they still haven't even set up the vault properly. What makes you think they would even care about categorizing shaders?

6 Replies“Go make your own game” - DMG Remember that the mods don’t pass stuff up unless you’re a YouTuber or Content Creator. So we no longer get QOL updates in game. Also not to mention that the mods hate a majority of us.

Ffs yes! Please.

i would love to see stats on shader usage. I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of shaders never get used for more than a few seconds (previewing).
-
They are just wasting time making shaders. We should just be able to make our own at this point.
-
Having a color grid, wheel or favorite system would be nice. Also making the shaders actually work the way they show would be great.
-
They will probably add this to their new mobile game that they are currently developing so you would throw money at it again.😂😂😂
-
I would rather a full spec color palette system where we can make our own shaders but that’s probably to far beyond what the game can handle despite older games having it and still being live service. (Cough warframe cough)

I was thinking about this a while back, but I don't post my ideas anymore. Anyways, good luck, I hope to see this one make it into the game!
