Polaris Lance Catalyst Not Progressing?
Polaris catalyst will not progress perfect 5th kills on direct impact explosion or burn damage
have seen reports of it not progressing as far as a month back.

1 ReplyEhy Guardian. As you've noticed, it seems that the Catalyst is currently bugged or anyway it's not progressing properly for everyone. Normally it should progress throught Burn Damage of the Perfect Fifth explosion, but many have noticed that it doesn't work. Here's a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dfYr3DwoEo&ab_channel=SnipzWreckage. I don't know if Bungie is aware of this, but I suppose yes since many threads about it have been made. Probably it's not one of their priority to fix, anyway.

It’s not the kills with the shot, it’s the ads around the explosion that die who will progress the catalyst I think.

Took me well over 5k kills in the shadow thrall room to get it

I got mine done farming the enemies in the grasp opening. It took forever though.

5 RepliesThink its always been like that. Unless they changed it since i got it when the gun came out, you have to get kills with the burn from the 5th shot. Not the explosion or the 5 shot itself. Its a real pain

Easiest way chip away at multiple ads then kill one and the rest die because of the explosion or burn that is required

Its the explosion from the 5th shot Not the 5th shot And it requires a lot Its not broken ...just really bad It should be updated to just be kills
