Freelance trials being permanent
The only people that don't want it permanent are the 3 stacks because they actually have to work to go flawless not pick on us solo players for free rewards. I'm tired oh getting tea bagged and -blam!- just cause I don't have friends to play with Bungie -blam!- your toxic community of cheaters that don't seem to ever get banned

And, it should require teams like grand masters do. Solo match making into GMs would be abysmal because you'd never know what you're going to get in your team. People can't even bring the appropriate load outs during guardian games for legend difficulty. Use LFG, make your team, and play. Takes five seconds to join a team. Bottom tier players shouldn't be gifted easier matches or quicker paths to adept loot.

AGREE 100%! I am not a great player but I have my moments of brilliance... I definitely get more wins in freelance, and Trials is much more enjoyable. You still go up against your fair share of cheaters though - not sure if that'll ever change (unfortunately)...

2 RepliesI mostly play solo and I don't want freelance. It kills the ability to play as a group of two, and beyond that it's a bandaid fix to a much larger problem. There should be matchmaking based on stack size, rather than just breaking up playlists and playerbases to cater to people who don't know what they're asking for.

I dont want it permanent and I rarely run 3 stacks, and I've abused the system of playing freelance and just steamrolling... It's a lot easier to play against 3 uncoordinated .5kds than it is a communicating 3 stack of .5s. If you aren't at a level where you're not comfortable carrying the load when solo queuing then you need to make some friends.

I think if freelance becomes permanent they should remove the flawless pool.

People will argue that “freelance hurts the population of the mode” but this is a fundamentally flawed argument because myself and much like probably the majority of solo players don’t even bother with trials AT ALL unless it’s freelance ergo makes absolutely zero difference to the population of normal trials. We’re either in freelance or not at all lol

4 RepliesNot sure if yanno this but it use to be you had to have a group of three for trials. My guess is that most people in your thread who will say “no” will also tell you to “make a team yourself”. So while I have no problem with your request(at the very least it should be every other or every third trials weekend has freelance) you shouldn’t be going in solo no matter what on the weeks without freelance, if you’re going with the expectation to win. You have to be willing to accept that by not having a team, you’ll have a tougher time.

If ur stacking 2.0 kd players no amount of stacking is going to easily beat that. I’ve played vs teams soo much it is normal .so I use a mic to combat the issue when people are not understanding what there doing

1 ReplyIdk, freelance is much easier. Good players would choose freelance too, because it's a very easy way to increase your kd, but it isn't how Bungie see this game mode. I would like to have freelance like every 3 week, but only with removal of flawless pool, it doesn't work and only hurt mid-table players

18 RepliesThey will never make it permanent. Hell even in solo if there are 3 flawless players they will ALWAYS be on the same team. SBMM would solve just about half the issues this game has but again they won't do that. High kd and flawless players only want to beat up on average players.

So you’re saying because i have no friends i shouldn’t be picked on for playing a team game mode solo? Are you actually being serious right now? Thats why theres something called LFG use it sometime. I would like to think most people in trials use some sort of lfg to play in trials i know i do. So this idea of well i dont have friends so im going to play solo and cry about being picked on in a team mode is stupid thinking just come out and say you lack skill and move on but with that being said yes freelance should be permanent for people who just want to go solo and not deal with what ever bs that my come with lfg but to cry about playing solo in a mode that requires a team is just stupid

They should go away with a non-flawless pool as they create gatekeepers. Good people still recover other people's accounts in the non-flawless pool. They should just have freelance and a normal mode like survival. the pool system sounds cool until you play a stack of streamers with 2.5+ KD doing carrys against people way worse than them.

1 ReplyNah high key freelance flawlesses are pathetically easy compared to stacking for me. Games come down to the best aggressive player in the game instead of best overall team most of the time so it’s just much easier for a good player to shine. I don’t like freelance because I effectively get punished (harder flawless) for playing with my friends in a team based mode—that doesn’t really make sense. Easier flawless, just not nearly as fun.
