Non-Flawless pool ideally is supposed to be a pool of players who either struggle to go flawless, or just want to play for rewards w/o getting stomped on
So here’s my suggestion:
-Give players 2-3x free resets per day at daily reset.
-After using up all resets, add a 15-30min timer to each reset if you haven’t lost yet.
-When you get a single loss on a card you gain the option to reset once.
-So it would play out as either you get 1x reset every 15-30mins OR after you get a single loss (of course this only applies if you use up your 3)
Is it perfect? No. Would it fix everything? No. But it would help slow down card farmers a little bit. There will always be someone who figures out how to circumvent things and there will always be people who make the game suck for everyone else. That’s just reality. But this may help lower the affect those players have on other people.
Now that I’m finished I’d love to see how much hate I receive from all the sweat lords and tryhards

9 RepliesYou do not want trials to be competitive. That’s not how this works. The only thing that needs to occur with trials is the removal of flawless and solo pools. If you want the explanation I’d be glad to give it. And even if we did all that, I would sit on a flawed 7 win and gate keep you 😂

22 RepliesHow do you know they are resetting? Couldn't they just be losing one game on purpose then playing on that same card for xp, mats and drops???

1 ReplyEdited by Akechi: 7/6/2022 5:25:47 AMThis “balancing” to resetters would never be implemented. Bungie is keen on numbers and getting the most people flawless in a week. The best thing to do is remove flawless pool, prioritize solo vs solo and or squad vs squad matchmaking, and do some minor tweaks with fair matchmaking. But they even won’t do this! Also the people who you’ve “ran against” and or “have seen” resetting is only a couple thousand compared to the amount that play every week. Plus there will always be a work around flawless pool. If bungie somehow did do what you are saying everyone would lose purposely one game or two and then farm on a flawed passage on flawless games to basically gate keep. Sadly this system that we have currently will probably be the system that is carried on for months if not years for trials…

You don't get to reset your ticket unless you lose. Simple fix. All tickets have mercy. You get the confidence passage if you don't use mercy. The tickets are in your quests like the weekly bound in sorry quest.

Bungie set this up ! The player base is a lot smaller because people got fed up . So now we left with stat farmers , ego strokers and sweaties . Pvp just isn’t that much fun anymore for anybody else so the player base is shrinking. Just sad these top tier are hanging around in control farming stats ….need to let go of their comfy blankets 😂

3 RepliesOr…. Don’t play. Trials isn’t meant for everyone. Let it die.

1 Replywell, I get where you're coming from but that'd still end up pushing lower tier players out of the mode as they'd need to reset if they're attempting flawless. It's ok for farming trials but, really trials is Endgame PvP, it shouldn't really be farmable imo (I absolutely suck at PvP so this isn't coming from a gatekeeping sweatlord)

No wonder the first game can be so hard sometimes.

1 ReplyI agree. That’s why I 3 win reset.
