Improve deepsight rates for Fixed Odds/The Epicurean
I've done 60 clears of Duality and about 20 extra runs of Gahlran, and I have a total of 2 deepsight Fixed Odds and none of The Epicurean. My entire clan has similar experiences. This cannot be the intended drop rate, and if it is, please either improve the rate or help us unlock them some other way

Not a single interesting roll on the epicurean I’d choose over null composure. I do want incandescent on the Harvey machine gun though

4 RepliesI don’t know about Deepsight (maybe like 2?) but yesterday was my 10th Duality and just got my FIRST Epicurean, Storm Chaser and New Purpose. All the other runs were 90% armor. With these drop rates, it’s not worth farming anything.

The drop rate for the deep sight weapons that we need to craft is abysmally low. It has been since they were introduced into the game. Bungie won’t do anything about it, as it creates more play time, and that’s all they want. They need for people to grind for them, as it makes it seem that Sony made a good $3 billion investment by buying them.

8 RepliesOnce classy restoration mod is gone, solar 3.0 will be buried away and no one will touch it anymore, except for some Halloween patrolling, may be. The fact that too many players have been so unlucky despite dedicating their playtime to farming these is a total failure since all there is to this season are three titles and crafting some weapons (read having fun with these toys.) One title is rng dependent, the other is time (read event) gated, and the last one is nothing but the usual patrol crap and going back to missions we already completed using non seasonal subclasses and loadouts. Boring. Imho this situation once again proves how disconnected Bungie’s sadomasochistic team is from the community, their own game, and from how fun it should be, which is leading to more anger, dissatisfaction and burnout, when all the community is asking for is just a little respect for the time invested and to have fun, not a second full time, unrewarding, job. Destiny is the epitome of how good a product can be yet how management’s inability to respond and adjust the service eventually ruins it for the customer.

I've had 6-7 Epicurean drops last week. None of them were Deepsight.

What I find funny. I've gotten the SMG, Pulse, and LFR all deepsight multiple times. But not the fusion or machine gun. I thought the dungeon were craftable but someone in my clan said they weren't, I was disappointed.

5 RepliesI have 5 of each. I feel like i get one on every run. It’s RNG bud, the drop rates are where they should be imo… maybe they could add bud luck protection like they did for the wellspring red-bars though.

I've cleared Caiatl ~110 times and only have 7/10 red borders.

12 RepliesIf anything they also need to add a chest at the end similar to Raids. Where you can spend specific materials to get the specific gun you want. I’ve had 29 completions this whole week, with no perpetual motion/desperado god roll New Purpose pulse. Tired of running the dam thing already; and I’ve yet to get a deep sight version of it.

Should maybe be one guaranteed red border from the final chest once a week per character. You’d still have to hope the red border is on one of the craftable guns so…

I'll get whatever good roll with both those weapons and call it a day. Hopefully Bungie will address but it's been radio silence in regards to it. This season has been the worst for the deepsight drops on craftable weapons.
