YOUR SEASONAL MACHINE GUN SUCKS!
Chain of command is stupid and useless. It's trash perks don't compete with anything or any other machine gun.
You SHOULD HAVE put Demolitionist and Feeding Frenzy as choices for the second column, and Chill Clip and Vorpal as the choices for the final column. Then the weapon would be badass!
But it isn't and it sux!

Hey, you want a job? I don't work for Bungie, but if you just show up and tell them you were hired by "Joe" I'm sure no one will check. I mean if the hiring process is anything like play testing and quality control... Oh yeah, gotta have a mohawk thats dyed at least 2 different colors because Bungie encourages expressing yourself.

It’s been great for getting cores when I break them down. Honestly, if I’m not using Gjallerhorn, Lament, or Xenophage, I’m using my threaded needle linear fusion.

I actually think it's pretty good, serving as an all-rounder sort of weapon. However, it has way too much kick for my liking.

Nah it’s good put on aderdilne junkie and adaptive munitions and boy does thing shred shields like nobody’s business this thing is one of match games worst nightmares pare this with arbelest and shields are non existent

I feel like having chill clip would make it broken. Basically a better version of Ager's Scepter, since you don't need to kill anything to freeze an area of ads. There's a reason they haven't put chill clip on weapons like auto rifles, hand cannons, machine guns, etc. It's a single answer to match game, and it's not an exotic like Hard Light, Borealis, etc, which makes it a solid choice for endgame pve. Is it the best, no; It's a ritual weapon, so it's not going to be. But it definitely doesn't suck as much as you think it does.

It's because bungie has adopted the philosophy that ritual weapons should only be a 70% God roll.

It’s just that in all honesty machine guns should’ve stayed in destiny 1, or bungie needs to stop being scared of making them good. Every time machine guns have been decent in d2 they were nerfed. Hard. Machine guns are now in a weird spot where they aren’t ammo efficient enough for add clear, they never really get champion mods for stunning, and even if they did the damage against champions and bosses isn’t good enough to use a machine gun over any other option (Except heavy grenade launchers… May their usefulness rest in peace).

Erm....Maybe you're just not an MG player? The stats for this thing is pretty nuts : 100% Recoil Direction Masterworked Range (+10) Adrenaline Junkie = i Grenade Kill in exchange for 33.3% Extra damage for 4.5 seconds (that's Kill Clip FYI without reload) Adaptive Munitions - It'll do heavy damage on ANY shield Vanguard Vindication = Return 7 HP per kill IDK Guardian....I put Backup Mag + Actium War Rig on and ran out of enemies.

I personally love the thing. 450rpm, Osmosis and Demo for subclass match and a recharging grenade on kills. On a Starfire warlock build, it's nuts. Sustained damage for replenishing grenades in a rift, all the while matching subclass and reloading with every grenade. Plus, you can always add more sustained damage with a Wither hoard. Niche? Perhaps, but I personally love the way I can use it at the moment. Not everything has to be the new best in archetype to be good.

5 RepliesRitual weapons are supposed to just get the job done. Not really blow your socks off. It’s a solid all around machine gun with adaptive munitions for harder content. Definitely worth a pickup for someone who is new or normally stays away from harder activities with match game and wants to get into them more.

4 RepliesThey missed out last season to give us a trenchbarrel 1-2punch shotgun. Instead of the garbage we got. This season should have been: armor piercing muligan and firing line. (Muligan procs on armor piercing rounds) Why are they so scared to give us rolls that are useable and unique.
