PvP mode with no abilities, supers, or exotics
No invisibility, no healing, no overshields, no sunspots, dunemarchers, stompees, or LoW. Plenty of long term PvP players want a break from the above power creep bullshit.
Edit: so many of y’all smacking on how it would be game mode like halo like that’s a bad thing - it’s only the game that Destiny was based on, that built the original bungie studio, and was one of the most commercially successful game franchises of all time - but you know, couldn’t possibly be anything to leverage there…

Honestly I was shocked way back in D1 when exotics started ruining pvp. I really couldn’t believe there were not set weapons for crucible. Needless to say it has never, not once, been balanced.

So many comments acting like he wants the whole game remade. Dumb Plenty of games have a mode that goes directly against the core identity of the typical gameplay. These modes are generally made to widen or narrow skill gaps. It is a breath of fresh air. Ever heard of Fortnite with no building? Lol Personally, I like to play chess. After a series of challenging games, a game or two of checkers is a solid good time. Playing a similar game with less stress helps me to mentally reset.

I don't understand why people keep beating this dead horse. why would Bungie redesign their game for a mode? For that matter, plenty of FPS on the market already have this covered and are available to play. Why not play one of those? The defining aspects of this game are centered around abilities. You don't work backwards and remove everything that makes this game what it is. For the,"It's just a mode, you don't have to play it" people. The amount of work it would take to do so would be a waste in the face of needed work on the current game.

It wasn't until Streamers, content creators, and the overly competitive players pushed enough that Bungie caved in. They thought [b]($$$.)[/b] Now because of all of that and adding trials, etc... the game is a huge mess with PvP/PvE and it's what, 9 years into 2 games and Destiny is worse off then it ever has been thanks to the people that don't care about a quality type of game. Bravo!

I personally would make Y1 a special mode just so people can stop saying dumb stuff like this. It doesn't stop with abilities you have to get rid of all the outliers and Y1 did that but nobody believes the horror story till its here just like I said sunsetting will be the downfall of this game and all the clowns scoffed at me.

I want to see a mode where every slot can have an exotic in it. Just to see how chaotic it all gets. The crazy builds.

Yeah people are really dumb with this one in the comments so far. It’s like swat from like any of the halo’s. It was such an anti halo game mode it felt like a breath of fresh air to some. Calling a “swat” like game mode cod is lazy, it’s boots on ground, hit your shot, with the classic 4 player teams. We need a game mode that’s a mix of skill and custom games chaos that we could actually return to. No radar, various debris on the field for extra cover, only a few maps at first, so it gives some time to edit more maps into the playlist (or just make it an event) Would be cool (and doesn’t have to be original). Game doesn’t have to rely on out of the box thinking for free content

There is this game called Call Of Duty or if your on Xbox then try Halo. They have no exotics nor any abilities. You should go try them
