…and the award goes to HOTHEAD!
For being the most ordinary and dull Nightfall weapon in living memory!
Based on a super-fun Exotic from D1 that could spread a huge pool of deadly napalm from well-timed manually detonated shots, it could once burn whole rooms full of enemies, but here it comes back inexplicably demoted to Legendary and robbed of every bit of its charisma!

Here is a short video explaining why it is pretty much the best if you want to do the highest DPS possible with a rocket launcher. https://youtu.be/EIBfLPtAbSk Maybe it just doesn't have a "feel" that works for you. Lots of good weapons and combos that I just don't like feel of. That is fair. But objectively the hothead is hot hot hot right now.

My guy, field prep clown cartridge is insanely good. Plus it was literally a d1 legendary. It wasn't based on a d1 exotic.

Hothead was sort of like Red Spectre and Eyasluna , legendary cousins to Exotics in D1, The people praising hothead are probably talking about the Adept version, the standard version is middle of the road , I prefer max blast radius like Palmyra, Code Duello,Sleepless, Royal Entry It's not the worst NF weapon though, that has to go to the comedian, it even laughs at you in the flavor text because you got a crappy reward

It's the only good PvE launcher that can get Adept Big Ones and gets some spectacular rolls on top of that.

It can get Explosive Light in Arc that's about it's only pull. Problem is Orbs were severely nerfed so by extension, EL. But the award for uselessness is Comedian. And then there's the ridiculously low droprates that make ALL nightfall attempts apart from GMs pointless. This is by far a bigger issue affecting all the Nightfalls and this whole aspect of the game.
