The vex drop rate is ridiculous
The drop rate for Vex Mythoclast is ridiculous, i've seen people with hundreds of runs to no avail. I understand adding these rng exotics for replayability but it's not fun to waste so many hours trying to get it just to end up giving up.

Edited by StealthJediPro: 6/21/2022 3:42:21 AMI've been telling people do it as rested after a week the first thing you do is the raid that gives you a greater chance at exotics. I got it my first VOG pug legit run. Not to rub it in your face just trying to help.

6 RepliesJust get the Atheon CP on all 3 characters and minimize the time you play in VOG to try to get it. Because I seriously hope you’re not running an entire VOG on each character each time. And it’s not farmable so 3x and if still no drop then try again next reset.

This is NOT how you do "raid" loot in a game, at all.

It’s all part of an experiment to see just how bad they can set the algorithm and still retain player participation. Nothing but Guinea Pigs providing data at this point.

Sure you have done extensive research and take data on forum to a nobody 😭 about a gun that he will never use. Don't believe what other are saying before looking at their stats and not their 😢.

I think if they implemented challenges that boost the drop rate, people would be happy. Kind of like the Duality Dungeon and Heartshadow. Give people an incentive to play the full raid and do challenges to earn bonuses towards the drop rate.

By now Vex has been out so long and there are so many other weapons I've pretty much given up on it. I've seen lots of others get it, but alas, never me. I was gobsmacked when I got the sword from Duality, and the very next run, same day, got the catalyst. But that's really unusual for me. That said, I haven't done 50 runs of VoG, nor DSC for Eyes of Never, but frankly, I shouldn't have to run 50-100 raids over and over for the vain hope of getting something. I'll just wait till the weapons come up in the kiosk and get em then. By then, nobody will want to do the cat run for Vex, so it may not even be worth it then. Divinity is a guaranteed drop if you do the quest, so that doesn't count against RNG. I can't think of any other raid exotics I've gotten unless I went to the kiosk and got them. 1k Voices, Eyes of Never, Vex, none of them have dropped. And again, I've only done one complete and a few partial clears of the 1k raid, so I can't complain there. You have to at least try, yeah.

Better get started at grinding Atheon because once reset takes place you won't get another chance because bungo will patch the bug that lets raid exotics be farmable through repeat runs

The vex drop rate should be like the new dungeon increase more you play plus finishing challenges
