*sigh*
Bungie.
C'mon. We're literally less than a week out and you can't even give us a hotfix that makes Jade Rabbit better. Are all season releases this cloak-and-dagger?
Edit: This season's either going to be a big fat bombshell or utter garbage. Either there's something so good that they want to keep under wraps, or there's something bad they want to keep under said wraps...

I just wanna know more about the Nine and whether or not they know about the witness, they could call it Season of the Nine. I mean I know they're basically just fabrics of space but still I really want to know more. I also wanna know more about the Vex and what they're up to last we checked they plunged the world into a simulation, surely they didn't just give up...right. I mean yeah they're not necessarily our enemy and I understand we have more pressing matters but still you got to wonder what they're doing. Overall though if Bungie doesn't give us news then they must have their reasons, that or they just forgot and/or are lazy.

Did not expect the Jade rabbit complaint to come up in a post for feedback for the marketing experimentation of their new season. BTW, they said a long time ago how much work goes into remaking an exotic as opposed to just making new ones.

3 RepliesSeason of other 3.0 subclass wasn't ready so that's delayed
-
1 ReplyAnd the Blight Ranger helmet for Hunters is still disabled.....lol I wouldn't use it anyway, but still. New season just around the corner and still not fixed.

Guardian,Archon Of LightRIP Destiny 9-14-2014 to 2-18-2026 - old
I will spare you the suspense There will be a seasonal Mcguffin that will be time gated to level up, requiring you to grind another copy and paste hoard mode -
1 ReplyWe are going find out more about the witness. Then find there’s someone behind the witness, then someone behind them. This is fun
-
3 RepliesThey are hiding something or nothing at all. You get old weapons. Old content. They have not even given a dungeon price yet or said what it was. Terrible marketing
-
Last minute delay guaranteed or they would be riding the -blam!- out the hype train by now

Can't wait to do 1 mission get acces to the seasonal arena and stare at all the time gates. To be honest I really want them to release the new dungeon first week.
-
Probably as uneventful as most recent productions by Bungie. Feels like they have nothing to show. They were so busy with making that single "new" pvp map during the past 3 years that they had no time for the other content. Tiny indie company right here. And the Bungie yay sayers will excuse any lack of content simply because they are addicted and we probably get a new dungeon. That's enough for the neckbeards to do some appreciation posts about how amazing the endgame content quantity is now.

16 RepliesBungie is a master of retaining dissatisfied customers like most people on these forums as customers. Truly impressive, when I don’t like a game I walk away but all of you stay committed!
-
Rasputin kills off Ana. What? You thought we were actually gonna wrap up the Elsie + Ana storyline? That doesn't come until we recycle the Sundial and ret-con it later.
-
Nah. If they have something good to share, they don't shut up about it (dynamic weather in Beyond Light, weapons crafting in Witch Queen). My bet is on them having nothing good.
-
4 RepliesIm kinda worried to be honest. When Bungie has something good, they advertise the sheet out of it way early.
-
1 ReplyI'm so excited to have my artifact reset so I get to grind harder to get to the same level I'm at now. So much fun. I just now got to a level to do master night falls and next week I will be to low. I really can't wait.
-
Well they blew their own trumpet a little as the narrative lead or whatever their title is said in a tweet a month or so ago It's their best season yet So that's not really saying much when if you play everything back to back for seasons you can usual finish I up in 1 sitting lol

10 RepliesDestiny 2: Beyond Ideas Season of the We Dunno Season of the Huh? Season of the Uhhhh... Season of the Whatever Destiny 2: Which Queen? Season of the We'll Get to it Season of the Last Minute Season of the Deja Vu Season of the Deja Vu

I'm hype for season of the I'm really glad they're bringing back from . I heard they reworked it to fit the sandbox. Don't even get me started about getting its light 3.0 rework. That'll be fun to play with
-
17 RepliesWhen they're quiet about it, the season is a big nothing burger.
-
7 RepliesI never really understood the hype for Witch Queen. It really wasn't that good. The campaign was okay. Everything else... Ew. No major change to the core playlists (except gambit getting worse). Crafting was a flop. I mean...
-
1 ReplyI'm annoyed only because the employees regularly pat themselves on the back on Twitter about how hype they are and how awesome x season is going to be, yet they can't even give us a name for the season yet? I think the community does wrap itself up into expectations without Bungie telling us explicitly that we'll get trailers or whatever, but that's part of the problem. They often DON'T explicitly say things about the game. Having secrecy and keeping the content interesting without telling us everything is understandable... To a point! After a while it really does just feel like they know most people that play Destiny will always buy more Destiny (or already have), so they don't have to try as much.

3 RepliesEdited by Bownzinho: 5/18/2022 7:43:57 AMWe do have some idea, we know that part of the story will feature members of the Vanguard arguing week after week like we have for the last god knows how many seasons. I predict if this season is about Rasputin then the story will be 12 weeks of Ana and Zavala bickering like teenagers and it will be classified as “great storytelling”. Oh, and it will be a different persons turn to have a go at Crow

3 RepliesSeason of IMAGINATION: Three guardians sit in a box and automatically get teleported to a random strike
-
7 RepliesI can't wait to play generic 3/6 Player match made activity so I can upgrade generic 3x5 Grid so I can keep playing generic activity. It'll also be fun how everything is time gated heavily including the story and the speed with how we can upgrade generic grid. And while we wait for the Master Difficulty for generic activity to drop, we get to spend all our time in the same activities we've been playing for five years so we can get the Ritual weapon and it's Ornaments before they're gone forever. And once we finally get Master Difficulty, it won't have match making even though it should, since the only difference between it and the Normal Version are Champions.

6 RepliesObvs it's the first one, it is going to be bad. They already were controlling the hype, by introducing a new PVP map. One PVP map after years of none is all they had to brag about. They annouce raids way ahead of time so don't expect King's Fall or any other Destiny 1 raid cause even with Vault of Glass they annouced it well ahead of time and have to give you a heads up incase you wanna try worlds first. One PVP map. Not two. Not three. Not the 12 they vaulted. They also didn't brag about changes to Gambit before the season like they always do before hand so don't expect that. What you need be expecting is one 6 player or 3 player seasonal activity that takes 10 minutes to complete and is boring after one day.
