Trials Sherpas resetting cards: non flawless pool
Ran into a top 0.2% player w/top 2% player in the non-flawless pool carrying a .5 kd player. Looked on trials report and saw that they had won 130 games this weekend without going flawless. Bungie has this been looked at? I reported both players for exploiting the game. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t the intention.

18 RepliesI agree this is a huge problem. I don't care if streamers aren't getting their beer money. They can carry people in the flawless pool instead of taking advantage of a system intended to make the game more accessible to casual players. It's like parking in a handicap spot because it's closer to the front.

Streamers reset their cards all the time. There needs to be a over/under on card wins. Its why i dont even take trials seriously. The carry community has turned into a income stream and that's it. Yall can also blame your peers for supporting that BS.

Hot Take: Trials was and will always be bad and has always brought out the worst in the PvP community. They should kick it to the curb

Pools don’t start till Sunday. Also it’s the end of the season and even below average players (like myself) have got almost every god roll adept weapon. So there is no reason for them to go flawless. It’s a loot issue. Give them a reason to get put in the pool and they will go. Maybe a special shader for going Flawless X amount of times in a season. Or an emblem. Adept weapons are no longer loot for the best players. So until that changes you will continue to see this.

Trials cards should only be allowed reset once it has been flawed.

There are also burn accounts to push normal players out so they are pressured into paying for a carry. I know 300k is better than the 40k 1yr ago. Might be time to put that carrot on a stick and give one adept weapon a season to get people to play or one card that gives an adept weapon after 50 match wins a weekend. That would really get the population up. At this point trials is not a competitive playlist, it’s lootbased with gatekeeping. The worst combination

One team (our 4th defeat on sunday) had a guy like 75-4 and the other 2 guys were like 25-0, the kicker is they only started playing trials this week on sunday. So they didnt even try to play i. The normal pool before that. Complete kd farmers. Another one had a guy well over a hundred wins and just a few losses. ( our second defeat, we played them later on also) Once we finallywent flawless it actually felt less sweaty than the non flawless pool. I also reported them for exploiting but we all know bungie doesnt care about them. Before this week i had only ran into maybe one team all weekend resetting but its obviously getting worse

4 Repliesi dont have a problem with two good players resetting to carry somebody. i do have a problem with stacked teams who go flawless every week doing it though, just to kd/elo farm or stomp on lesser players. These players have no balls and fragile little ego's, and cant face playing the other best players. (which is what i thought trials was supposed to be). and yes this is common place.

The intention was that there will be a place where lesser skilled players, have a change to go flawless bungie checked the reset rate and it was about 4/6% players base reset this means out of every 100 players you match two teams might have reset. And bungie was oké with that. Flawless pool doesn’t automatically mean you are guaranteed not to face players like this. That’s the intention. So far bungie is oké with it. So I would say keep trying you’re prbly gonna go falwess there are more players for you to face

Trust me, this gamemode really drained any motivation I wanted into achieving flawless Anything I wanted (not the weapon) was worthless (including the weapon) since the main thing I wanted was the emblem and the glow the adept weapons I both do not care for, nor care about those who have them Pvp is a game mode worthless then anything to me, I don’t have a competitive side, nor a way to find my own personal reason to achieve it And if I did want to do it, is because I wanted something. Losing, winning doesn’t matter, people who asked for this game mode should have expected, people would leave/stop the playing game, cause they knew the game was loss if it’s 0/4 so they just stop or leave Cause they don’t care, I don’t anyway

22 Repliesthere shouldn’t be a flawless pool it’s end game pvp that’s like saying ooo sunday and monday we going to turn down the difficulty of the raids so the people that can’t do them can get it done it wrecks the hole point of the activity by not making it hard. people need to stop whining face it not everyone is ment to get everything in the game unless u work for it with practice and dedication

1 ReplyPeople are allowed to reset their cards if they want to, and if they are helping 0.5kd players to go flawless like you said then even better. Going flawless means beating whoever is in yiur way for 7 matches, some times you get lucky some times you run into Frostbolt. If you're good you rely less on luck and if you are bad luck plays a bigger part. Don't complain just because you ran into a better player.

Bungie could make it once you hit a certain ratio of wins in a row (7-0) you are automatically moved into the flawless pool. I mean they could but they won’t. To much money involved.
