As someone who goes flawless a lot already, I still think this is a good idea. Having adepts drop after 7 wins on a confidence card will keep people from resetting their passage and keep people interested in the mode who otherwise would not be due to skill. The drop chances are already low enough that it would still be a grind for players, but a less stressful one. It would also make the player pool less sweaty and more enjoyable for the good players who don't want to sweat every match and just have fun.

3 RepliesCammyCakes made a video on it that I agree with; basically, he said keep adepts as post-match drops after reaching a certain criteria, and make the aesthetics, ships, and sparrows flawless loot. I completely agree with this.

19 RepliesEdited by Chunk: 4/12/2022 11:51:40 PMI think Bungie should do a hybrid Keep solo matchmaking, remove flawless pool, keep freelance to a once a month for x2 rewards and ffs remove capture point. Every and any card with seven wins regardless, should be able to be exchanged with currencies for an adept and be repeatable on purchase of a new card. Mods, materials, shaders, emblems, mementos, eververse items and titles should only be obtained by the light house chest as well as the usual drops of adepts and armor. If you play beyond seven wins, regular versions of the weapon or armor or trials engrams should drop at the end of every match, regardless of how many losses you have. If you leave by quitting ( not an error code ) your card should be degraded to not worthy of exchange for an adept. Reset your card and start again if you want your adept or keep farming engrams an regular versions. I for one play this game for loot, and I do not care who has what, or earned what, by doing whatever, let everyone get their loot to play with.

16 RepliesHere’s an easy trials fix. Adepts drop on wins after 7 wins no matter the losses, and flawless is cosmetic rewards like momentos and trials exotic ornaments (think ace of spades). To counter the whole “adepts are endgame loot and trials should be endgame” is gms give out adept loot like crazy, especially when it’s lake of shadows, arms dealer, etc. and no one bats an eye. So who cares if someone gets an adept they still have to WIN games at 7 wins. That’s not entirely easy as it sounds for low tier players

2 RepliesI don't think going flawless once in the entire season should give you access to every Trials adept that season. I think it would be better if you could farm adept loot on a non-flawless 7 win card of any kind as long as you have gone flawless at least once that weekend. That gives immediate incentive to enter the flawless pool, should it stay. Last thing we need is people going flawless week one and then farming people who have never gone flawless in week 10.
-
Reading some of these responses just makes me wish they make the confidence passage glitch permanent with a rework next season.
-
2 RepliesIt should drop a normal version of the weapon like this glitch caused and if you go flawless that weekend it's upgraded to the adept version. People not going flawless have no business farming adept and should be happy getting normal versions. The flawless pool should be removed though.
-
1 ReplyThey won't. This is Destiny. Where the only fun you'll get is when you're done all your weekly activities and can finally go do something else.
-
3 RepliesSo if someone goes flawless once. They paid for it doesn't really matter. They should get guaranteed adepts?? Guess I should get Timelost and Adept Raid weapons just for failing encounters.
-
4 RepliesWhile we're at it, why not create a log in system that gives free adept loot? O wait, how about a punch card so when you participate 4 times in a row, you get a trials ghost, sparrow, or ship? Wait those are dumb ideas, I got an even greater one, how about every time the player breaths, they get a God roll so they don't have to grind any activity?
-
18 RepliesNo,trial should have been cancelled that week and if the card isn't fix it should be locked next week That defeat the entire purpose of trial
-
I don’t mind that but there would have to be an incentive going flawless. Maybe allow ppl who go flawless to craft their own roll of the adept weapon that week? Idk something like that.
-
1 ReplyAs long as you get flawless that week, sure, but if it’s just handing out adept weapons, that’s dumb. Can’t do GMs? Cant get adept weapons. Cant go flawless? Cant get adept weapons.
-
I might be fine with it if they reverted the system to require to to go flawless that week in order to access the confidence card. Otherwise it still kinda breaks the economy
-
Then separate the player pool so people that have yet to go flawless are not affected
-

-
Make it be an incentive for flawless pool so people stop win resetting

Edited by Dredgen Truth: 4/13/2022 12:41:46 AMI agree with the sentiment but i think they should still ask that players at least go flawless that week to get them. Like, get a flawless confidence, then it just stays as rewards for 7 win cards. Keeps the sweats sweating without devaluing the lighthouse.

1 ReplyEdited by Evilman520: 4/12/2022 10:51:08 PMI've only ever gone Flawless one time in all of Destiny, and that was honestly a fluke. I wish I could've participated in the loot grab this weekend but that would require me to actually have skill. That said, I think Bungie should implement this "bug" as a periodic feature, maybe alongside Freelance.
-
I just recently went flawless for the first time and I grinded out this. Had some fun.
-
Like the person below said. It really should be considered as at least an occasional thing. It would definitely be a positive way to increase engagement and make more people feel like they're part of the mode.
-
I think that they should just modify it. Let any 7 win card be turned into Saint to buy his adept weapon. Loot doesn't drop like candy that way, but you can still grid as much as you like.
-
I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but it'll basically ensure that nobody goes flawless every week and just keeps a confidence card with losses on it. But I guess it doesn't matter all that much since it's back to mostly only tryhards playing trials anyway again.
-
Almost gives an idea of a further rework to make trials more engaging to more of the player base thus making the mode healthier and viable. Seen this bug open up some nice discourse from the usual trials people on how to make it more rewarding and approachable to others while not feeding new players to them which is nice to see
