Error Code "ErrorCannotLoadLinkedCredential" when attempting to unlink Twitch

How do I unlink a Twitch account that I no longer have any access to since that account has been deleted? I am attempting to unlink a Twitch account from my Destiny 2 profile. After clicking unlink, I am prompted to sign in with the Twitch account in question. This Twitch account has long since been deleted and I have no access to these login credentials. (even tried to recover the account through Forgot Password but was unsuccessful) When I try to sign in with a different Twitch account, I get the following: Authentication Error Unlinking has failed because you signed into a different external account than the one you have linked. We cannot unlink your external account unless you sign into the correct account. Unlinking has failed because you signed into a different external account than the one you have linked. We cannot unlink your external account unless you sign into the correct account. The error code: ErrorCannotLoadLinkedCredential

 • Yes this method basically overrides your existing (old deleted Twitch) and adds your Existing ( New) Twitch account to your Bungie profile. Step 1: Log out of your Bungie.net account Step 2: Make sure you are signed in to your (New) Twitch account Step 3: On the top right of the Bungie.net page use the "Sign in" tab and select "Twitch" Step 4: Will ask you for your Twitch sign in info and enter it in Step 5: Next it will ask what platform you are linking Twitch account with. (Playstation/XBOX/Steam ect.) Step 6: Enter your Platform sign in info and sign in Step 7: It should now override your old Twitch account and replace it with the new one, thus giving you the ability to "UNLINK ACCOUNT" if you need too without error code. Go to settings/Account Linking and double check. might need you to refresh page to see changes. Found this solution by accident =)
