The Crucible Is Pathetic
It's so gross ... blowout, after blowout, after blowout, after blowout ... it's disgusting. Who the -blam!- likes this -blam!-? I don't -blam!- get it ... it completely ruins the Destiny experience, yet Bungie does nothing.

It's a -blam!- dumpster fire. Only a complete -blam!- idiot would impose connection based matchmaking on any competitive game. I can't take it seriously, and I don't waste my time with it. If the game is clearly -blam!-, I'll just wander around and look at the scenery or just leave the match. I leave the vast majority of Elimination rounds because it's pointless. Most games are full of hacks or -blam!- using weapons and powers I have no access to. -blam!- it all to hell.

51 RepliesThat's what cbmm does. That's what the vocal part of the pvp community wanted. They think it's fine and how pvp should be. They won't blame themselves for this mess but will blame 'bad players'. This is their fault.

2 RepliesBungie stated in two TWABs that Crucible has no skill based matchmaking, only connection based. That Crucible doesn't care if your K.D. is 0.46 and the enemy has been flawless 157 times, if your connections are somewhat a match, good luck buddy. It doesn't care about trueskill, K.D., Flawlesses, elo, nothing. Just if your connections somewhat connect. I keep saying somewhat cause it is still possible for it to match you with someone who will lag like crazy being connected to you. [i][b]Bring back Skill Based Matchmaking[/b][/i]

You are the problem . Get help . I’m a terrible pvp player but don’t play that much . Again just don’t understand people who pour hours in to pvp ….stat farming , k/d . All bit sad really .

15 RepliesI don't understand these posts. I'm hot garbage at crucible and it's nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Yes some games are trash but a majority of em aren't nearly that bad. Some games you slay and some games you get slayed. That's how pvp works in every game.

To call it broken is an understatement. I don’t understand why like maybe 6/10 matches result in a mercy. Doesn’t that prove sth is wrong? They have to be able to see the amount of mercied matches in their data. The PvP in this game is so unbelievably lopsided. I’ve never seen anything like it ever. I know not every match will be perfect, but this is unplayable in this state.

Cross play needs to go . It's been a sh*t shower since it's introduction. Sick of watching Xbox players lag around the map . Ghost bullets. Teleporting. Hand cannon shot gun meta (small maps special ammo ). Matchmaking is shocking. And the beat goes on .

The matchmaking is as unstable as a menstruating schizophrenic woman with seventeen children. Game has no problem seeing you get stomped match after match after match. But the moment you win one or, god help you, mercy the other team, you get pitched against teams of 5 or 6 with the current meta loadout just waiting to resume the stomping.

Thorn meta Mida meta at d2 launch Dust rock/luna/bygones meta I play totally off meta and manage to slap (imo) on a regular basis rn. Somehow. Though i do not even attempt trials. Just a fat nah there.

Posts like this achieve nothing. There’s no rationality, just a rant and any developer reading it will just ignore it. What points are you making? Match making? Gun balance? Lack of map variety? You may well have valid points but unless you express them in a calm manner and suggest what improvements you would like, I can’t see this is ever going to be more than simply getting it off your chest. Sorry.

2 RepliesI actually prefer when the matches end quickly. Just looking to knock out those three matches for the pinnacle gear and get back to not hating life. PvP could cease to exist and I wouldn't care.

21 RepliesAnybody defending the state of PVP are beyond saddening in the mental. You gotta be a whole sheep to be okay with the concept we got for PVP right now. Players are literally going through the motions and the only answer they have is “don’t play it” or “go play another game” but neither of them ask for improvements to the game regardless if they are having a good or bad time in it. This is why the game is in the state it is. This community would be well heard from Bungie if players would simply drop the elitist act for pretending this game is a competitive shooter versus being a fun one and embrace the fact that this game is suffering internally.

People who’ve gotten more we rans than significant others. Think back to your last game and how long it took to find 12 people. It’s the sad reality of bungie ignoring pvp for as long As they have, their player base is ignoring it too😔 it says a lot when my iron banner kd is higher than my control one lol. Just my opinion tho.

I am telling you who exclusively loves this -blam!-. Bungies investors. Zero effort at all whatsoever within the last 3 years put in to pvp. Zero resources, thought and manpower used and players still eat it up and defend it. That's why. If people keep playing, especially their praised streamers, nothing will change. It will just be good enough for them as long as people play. If all of a sudden player numbers would significantly drop to dead numbers, they would have do to something. Either delete it entirely or rEnEw tHeIr fOcUs on pvp. After 800 false promises in doing so. So yea will not change at all as long as all the cringe "this is the new best shotgun in the game" clickbait youtubers push content for this games pvp.
