Ive lost 7 games of gambit in a row while consistently being one of the better players in the lobby. Despite the fact that gambit matches are basically still determined in the first few minutes and the initial invade, i still want to get my materials and max out my drifter rank. But Im so over this completely pathetic and unchanged matchmaking. This is not even to mention crucible or the absolute joke that is and always has been “guided games”. For a studio who is so committed to making their matchmaking system work, their execution is beyond lacklustre.

2 RepliesMaybe tone down the attitude and you’d have a reliable team to play with. When you play with randoms, you get what you get. Food for thought.

Teamwork: Proof that your hard work can be ruined by someone else’s incompetence.

Three simple gambit steps. One. Play with clan Two. Play to win Three. Play dirty and aggressive.

4 RepliesEven when you win a Gambit match you lose because you're playing Gambit instead of something else.

1 ReplyEveryone wants to point the finger at everyone else. “Being one of the ‘better’ players” doesn’t sound reassuring. A. It’s gambit B. Have you never won 7 games in a row? People always complain when they don’t get their way but I guarantee the game isint somehow design to make you loose. I’m not sure about gambit but crucible over compensates in its matchmaking. Most players have between a 40-60% win ratio so I highly doubt gambits match making system works completely different. Your complaining about one occurrence but you should check your all time/season ratios because that paints a different picture. Your not really making recommendations either which makes it appear like there isint an identifiable problem. Given the forum is an abyss for players to vent into it seems like everything is functioning as intended.

To your point. I played and won my first game. I played like 5 more games and lost them all. My team was consistently season rank 0 while I’m over rank 100 lol. It’s like the crucible matchmaking but much worse.

2 RepliesWould be true if you actually lost 7 games but you have lost 3 from your recent hunter game history and played 10 if not more

No one invades on my teams either - unless I do it lol I don’t blame the community- most just jump in to get the pinnacle- it’s a horrible mode that should be sunset…

3 RepliesAnd what would be the difference if you'd won those games? (Aside from a few more rep gains with drifter)
-
1 ReplyGit gud
-
You only need 3 games for the pinnacle. 3 and out my friend, 3 and out.
-
Only seven consecutive losses? 12 is where it's really at
-
Standard in gambit. I just stop caring about it esp since you are at the mercy of going nowhere when you hit legend if you fail to win.
-
Sounds like you need to get better at gambit.
-
Fun right! ? No? Hmmm
-
I don’t think I’ve played seven games of gambit let alone lost them
-
The game mode needs to die
-
You played 7 gambit matches?
-
You do know we can check right?
im literally a god, how is it possible that I’m losing
14 RepliesWhy do people always try for the 15 emotes?? Grab some and drop them and move on. Don’t be that Guy who loses them to ghally after the first invasion
-
2 RepliesFreelance or regular gambit
-
So? It happens right?

Just a bad streak. Walk away and next session will be better. Ive gone on 6 games losing streaks and also finished guilding the title last season on an 8 win streak.

Dude last week I was top 0.4% in gambit I’ve had 12 loss streaks before, and 10 win streaks, happens to all of us. Also, I have more than once since the changes, have had games we were down 50 motes come back and win. The problem I find is too many people allow one powerful invasion or a big lead make you lose your morale so you just stop trying. Sure you’ll lose once you’ve stopped trying, don’t give up and keep playing to win. I’ve won matches where no one on our team invaded, and lost matches even when our invader was good because despite us mopping up the other team, our team wasn’t focusing damage so the other team had ample time to catch up. It’s honestly a simple game mode. Dredgen is the only title I’ve guilded 4 times so far. I actually enjoy the pacing of the mode, always have. From the 3 full rounds, to prime, to what it is now.

Edited by BLUEBERRY (ADEPT): 3/29/2022 5:23:07 PMI feel the same man. Constantly top player for motes and damage, somehow always lose. It’s almost like playing the objective doesn’t matter. Just invades 🤔
