Xur armor is still bad
Noticed he was off "known issues," this week, but you should know, you didn't fix anything. Please either announce hes no longer going to provide good rolls or put it back up on known issues, because this is silly. If Lost sectors had a better drop and rotation, I wouldn't even care, but they suck anymore as well.

1 ReplyRemember bungie takes their sweet time to fix anything that's meant to benefit players. If somethings "not working as intended" and players are benefiting it's fixed in no time or disabled

Bungie doesn't care, mainly because they would of already patched it and its been around for about a month now and they are doing jack -blam!- about it.

They know it is bad. It literally says "High Stat Armour" on new activities. They want you to A) Grind for good stats and B) Own Witch Queen to get activities that drop good stats. That's what happens when you go from tens of millions buying Taken King to bragging about ONE million buying Witch Queen.

Just wish the Nothing Manacles roll he’d give me is above a 58. Never gotten higher from random drops and I’ve gotten it randomly 3 or 4 times now.

I bet from their point of view it's working as intended. It allows for new players to obtain exotics that they don't currently have for a somewhat low legendary shards cost. Base stats are entry level for collection purposes. The exotic engram still remains a chance at higher base stats. ( Personally I still see 60+ rolls) Which of course costs more in legendary shards. Not to mention the hoops to run through for an exotic cipher bounty. ( Inflated game time) It seems geared toward vets spending more legendary shards that they know we have thousands of, while allowing newer or returning players with small stacks the chance to at least own them. I just don't think it's high on the priority list for them.

3 RepliesLook just to repeat an unpopular opinion that made many players cry thick tears of pure salt... Armor shouldn't be subject to RNG it should be something the player has direct control over and the freedom to make their own decisions on. Your armor has a base stat of 42? you get to assign how those points are distributed, if you get a piece of the same gear with higher base values? You can consume that armor to increase the points on your existing armor and again, distribute them how you choose.

Like I'm not saying they should all be offering 60+ rolls in every slot every day but they should at least be offering gear in the 55+ range, 46-48 rolls are utterly worthless.

TWAB issues usually only contain the most prevalent and sometimes recent issues. Xur armour is still on the actual list complied in the help section.

I have better drops from random chests than xur also on average have better drops from random chests than public events
