Wellspring grind is awful
Please remove weapon patterns from this activity.
Totally burned out and still require more patterns that are not dropping
Horrible format

1 Reply6 extra months for this DLC well spent to figure out how to have their player base waste as much time as possible. How dare you complain! They put sweat and tears into this activity! Took a toll on the devs to make this garbage activity as unrewarding, boring and grindy as possible! Respect them for their dedication.

They did Attack/Defend on 1 single map just backwards from each other. Can they really not make maps for activities even when we pay for them? What the hell is the deal? This activity should have 3-4 maps, each of them with attack/defend, and different bosses. This is incredibly lazy. They constantly make us grind an activity for so long when it has barely any maps. It's just brutal. I have never seen a game come out with activities that has barely any map variety other than Destiny. So lazy it's not even funny.

Sure is.. and the exotic glaives suck. I stopped grinding the wellspring I got come to pass like 20 times not a single red border

so quit playing it until its fixed. anyone that has been around for awhile knows this is how they do things. at first when new content drops they scale the drop rate to be almost non-existent. then throughout the season they slide those drop rate sliders to be more forgiving. think smarter, not harder my friend.

I ran my 3 clears of Wellspring for the powerful on the Bow day. Oh, I got 1 bow from 3 clears but not a red border. Would be nice if at least you first weapon each week would be a resonance weapon ffs! I'm only at 4 red border weapons from 7 full Vow of Disciple raids. At this rate I will maybe get a few patterns by next season.

if you play master you get the weapons thrown after you And also the ones with the red border But those aren't the problem, the blueprints for the 2nd and 3rd Exotic Glaive are the problem

I don't mind it but don't do it often as I'm not bothered about any of the weapons to craft other than the bow which I am currently doing and the shotty which I currently am still to get a red box one. I think wellspring would be better if it was like psiops and had different locations, not necessarily on other planets, just around the throne world.

Thank the gods that I finally knew when enough was enough after the boredom that was Beyond Light. Short campaign. Then back to the Pinnacle slog and seasonal activity. Over and over and over again. It never changes. Got tired of spending about $100 every year to play the same thing I've already been playing. It's like we have to buy the license to play the same game every year and... Oh, no, wait.. That is EXACTLY what it is. The tedium of this game is not hidden AT ALL. Not "not hidden well" but not hidden in the least. You're just expected to rinse and repeat without question. Good, lil soldiers. Keep those wallets open, now. Don't ask, just do. There is SO much potential for this game to be more than just a Pinnacle slog and seasonal snooze-fest all the damn time but why should Bungie change? The whales keep them fed.

1 ReplyOn the other side for those of us that did the HORRIBLE grind. Wellspring is fun BUT with the same weapon rotation and the extremely low rate of resonate drops for anything and too many different activities to grind. Who the hell has time for all of this. There are too many activities we are supposed to grind with way to low drop rates. Even streamers who live 24/7 in Destiny complain about this. Imagine the rest of us with real jobs working with real people with real families feel when you get 1-2 hours to play but are expected to run for 8+ hrs in several activities for the rare chance of completing anything. Meanwhile everything we do gain during those hours just get sharded!

I was really excited to test and use weapons and reroll them as I please. But then I hit this Wellspring wall. 16 gameplay hours later and WQ died for me outside my Tuesday raids. That grind is worse than pinnacles from forsaken plus the swords from d1 combined. Horrible design.

took me around 50 runs to get one a friend ran 3 and got one this -blam!- is beyond a joke and bungle wonder why we dont bother with these things they burn us out till we are sick of the sight of the game
