What's the point of having armor Aesthetics when we don't even see our character besides using a sword.

I mean how many times do we have to request it can you please give us a third person camera mode at least end player versus environment activities. Like I understand that three peaking is a problem in player-versus-player but what's the excuse for PVE content? You're telling me that you guys can't do something that Anthem did?

 • Times you can see your super cool fashion sense: • When using a sword, Scorch Cannon or orb created by Ruinous Effigy. • Upon activation of or while using a Super. • On a sparrow. • While emoting (minus Trials/Competitive PvP) • While dunking motes or carrying/using mechanic specific items. • In certain activity preview screens. • Public spaces (the Tower, Xur’s Vault) • Various cutscenes (with the occasional speaking role to boot!) • For a short period after you die, assuming you weren’t vaporized. • Your equipment screen. Keep in mind that Anthem was designed from the ground up to be a third-person shooter, meaning character models, animations, particle effects and over the shoulder camera were all developed in such a way to allow players to see what they were aiming at while looking nice. Trying to suddenly add third-person shooting into Destiny without it coming across as half baked would likely entail a great number of adjustments in character models and animations, not just to make sure that they don’t impair the player’s view or appear entirely broken, but that they actually look pleasant. I imagine it’s less a question of “Why can’t Destiny devs do what Anthem did?” and more “Why would Destiny devs spend time adding functionality that relatively few people request that isn’t tied specifically to accessibility concerns (color blindness settings, autofire settings)?” destiny is first person except in town… anthem is third person except in town… hmmmm… / (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
