The necrotic grip warlock armor is not applying poison when used with penumbral blast, the poison is cancelled out by the freeze. This a bigger issue in high-level content where penumbral blast does not one shot the rebars, meaning no poison is applied at all. The poison will sometime apply when the rebar is killed by the penumbral blast melee damage. Otherwise it is overridden by the freeze being applied.
