Everything Sony touches eventually turns to -blam!-, so I'm probably quitting after Witch Queen. I'd rather have pre-microsoft Activision Blizzard in charge.

So here's the issue with that logic, the Bethesda titles are mostly single player so it does suck that they're console locked now but Destiny is a multiplatform MMO with crossplatform functionality. If Sony starts making things exclusive they're doing so to let players advertise to other players that they should switch platforms and that's only if they don't cut off the crossplay that they didn't even want in the first place. Give it a couple of years, this will go south just like it did with Activision and Microsoft before them.

That's actually a pretty good point. Part of the reason D3 wasn't going to happen was the required funding. Previously i'd have said no to it but now..... Maybe?

I find it funny whenever people say that they'll quit everyone starts saying that they won't. I used to play and waste money in this game like hell, but after Beyond Light, I only hop on every 3 months and play for a day. My longest break was 9 months long, from the 2nd month in Beyond Light to the start of Season 15 (with one hop-in at the end of Season 13, which lasted 1-2 weeks only). I played for a month just like with Beyond Light during Season 15 and I hopped in for the 30th Anniversary (played F2P starting Season 13), which lasted for a couple of days. But, every single time I return, I get even more bored. RN, I'm taking a break till Witch Queen and I'll likely only play for a day or two (considering Elden Ring drops right after), then stop for a good while just like after Beyond Light.
