Lost sector farm is garbage
How many times do I have to clear a lost sector before I get anything to drop?
So you nerf drop rates for the jobless mommas boys that make free advertisement for you on twitch.
Because they farm too much and hoard engrams?
How about the people that actually work for a living?
I don’t have time to play this game to get a season rank 2434……
Return drop rates to what it was. Regular players just want the exotic n move onto the other pinnacle farming we can do before we have to go back to our real lives

Lost sectors just a waste of hard drive space. I wish they'd abandon the concept. They were a great precursor to Dungeons. But Bungie is just wasting dev resources at this point and it's sad to watch.

13 RepliesYou should have purchased the Premium RNG Package from the Eververse Store. I’ve never gone more than 4 lost sector completions before receiving an exotic drop.

A week ago Friday I created a Warlock for a secondary character. A few days later I did five MASTER lost sectors (Aphelion's Rest) in a row. Not sure what level you are playing at. I got four different exotics in a row before nothing on the fifth run. I agree with one of the other statements. For 10 runs I will almost get 3-4 exotics. You have to do Master to see the consistent drops.

Running the same legendary lost sector 20+ times with nothing to show for it but glimmer & blues shouldn’t be a thing. But it is.

I feel your pain, I run the helmet every time I see it at least 3-10 times (both legend and master) for all of beyond light and I still don’t have a mask of bacras for my hunter… the whole rng system is meh, I get why it’s there buuuuut I think it needs to be toned down a bit, looking at you VEX 👀

I understand this a lot actually, I do have a life and I do things outside of destiny for cuirass of the falling star it took me about eight or nine tries and I finally got it took me about an hour and after it did not feel rewarding as I thought it was going to be

2 RepliesI've not confirmed this 100%, but I'm pretty sure you get drastically reduced exotic drop chances if you have max glimmer when opening the end chest.

2 RepliesIm not sure why this happens to me but im curious if anyone else has better luck in the legend lost sectors like me. Past two times ive ran them ive gotten the exotics on the first or second try.

Personally I think they have exotic drops kind of backwards. Regular exotic drops shouldn’t be guaranteed to be something you don’t have, but they should have some duplicate protection and be able to give new exotic armor which is currently locked behind lost sectors. Lost sectors on the other hand should be guaranteed to give an exotic you don’t have when one drops, so lost sectors would still be the best source of the new exotic armor.

It's RNG which means there is a chance you'll get it, there's an even bigger chance you won't. I work 70+ hours a week, never had an issue with LS' giving me the exotics. 1 ReplyChances are 25% on legend and 35% on master. We didn't must farm exotics if Bungie left reconstruction of exotic armor like it was in Destiny 1.

I ran a legendary lost sector 20 times and received nothing - never again. I think it’s a great idea to farm them through this method - for better rolls - but to just have them drop I would appreciate them being in the world loot pool as well…

While some players are ok with this i think there should be a different approach on obtaining then outside lost sectors. Hell they can put them in as Xur Dares rewards for rank rewards.
