Anti cheat?

So how exactly does your anti cheat work?? Cause I’m still seeing blatant aimbots in crucible. I know I’m not allowed to name drop people, but the last match I was in there was a dude that only hit headshots (messenger with desperado proc the entire game) he ended the game 48 kills and a 6.8 k/d (all his deaths were from supers) also his clan mate was getting some sketchy moves too, would high jump then immediately be back on the ground. Reported both of them but I feel like that the report button is just there for looks.

  • While a lot better than before, you cannot eliminate cheating 100%. It's not unheard of to get only crits if you know how to aim, and I've played with teammates who do it fairly consistently in Trials since the hit box is fairly generous. As far as I know, there is no cheatcode that allows someone to jump, and appear on the ground immediately after - that seems more of a lag issue. Reporting has netted in thousands of players being banned that have been proven to be cheaters - they don't ban suspected ones because so many people blame "cheating" on their own inabilities, so they have to filter through them with a fine tooth comb
