Not much game developers can do from what I’ve heard. It’s sad that pc has very little cheating these days but console is completely -blam!-. Best part is people actually pay for online services on console lol

I am not defending this and if you cheat in a video game you’re actually a loser with ego problems. Cronus can’t be considered cheating by bungie. There is a YouTuber with DETAILED tutorials on how to “enhance your gameplay”. It’s lame, and I sent a report in with his gamer tag, BNET, YouTube channel, a link to his cringe discord and everything. He still makes videos. It’s super embarrassing.

Comp is fine as is. Trials is a failure and the pool system is a failure in itself it did not deter blowouts but made them worse and matchmaking manipulation is why its bad to begin with. Cheating is nonexistent what you are experiencing is skill creep and the willful denial that there are just better dudes. Comp also is a small population the ones who still play it like myself play it on principle and to escape the crappy cbmm the rest of the game has. Comp is a reflection of skill and lack there of mythic 2 is impressive but not uncommon especially with how easy they made it to rank up. I get it that you are on your last legend for unbroken but there is nothing off about mythic facing legends following the 1 up 1 down rule in ranking.

I agree with cheating, it’s getting to the point of being ridiculous. The real issue is not even the pool it’s bungies matchmaking. True Vanguard did a video recently where he started a new character and was helping players go flawless or maybe comp I can’t remember. Anyway he noticed that as a new character with no mods or exotics and playing with casual solo players he was matched against all high level, high skill players almost every single game. I’ve been saying this for the last 3 seasons. I hit Legend solo in comp 2 times then when Bungie made matchmaking changes in pvp I cannot hit Legend again no matter how good I play. I get matched with casual players every game and matched against all really good players, Legend ranked, flawless, unbroken and a lot of cheaters and game after game my teammates getting booted. I get up in the Mythic range and continually, like every single time for the last three season get sucked into a losing streak all the way back down to Fabled over and over again. I’ve lost anywhere from six games in a row to 20 games in a row. There is a few wins now and then but with the next round a loss it wipes out the win and takes more rank points away. If I start winning a game one of my teammates gets booted every time. Bungie is clearly incompetent fixing this so they should let you keep whatever rank you hit and not fall below that rank no matter how many games you lose. Here’s the clip if it works.
