I don’t completely believe that. There are too many times where my team is beating the other team handily, when suddenly people on the other team can shoot nothing but headshots while somehow dancing back and forth and jumping and sliding all at once. That’s not all from practice, unless they sandbag and intentionally play bad for the first 1/2 of a match.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that at almost 50 I’ll only ever be so good (as much as it pains me to admit that) because hand-eye coordination goes as you get older. I see it in how much better my son can be than me.
However, I’m also convinced that I’m doing something wrong, that there’s some way to use the technology to improve that I don’t know about. Are the elite controllers really that much better? Do the programmable controllers I read about actually work? Is there such a thing as an aimbot on Xbox? What am I missing?
Some people warm up faster than others. Sometimes it can take me a few mins or a game or even a few games it all depends on my mood, time of day and if I've just woken up. So it could be the same for others.
Also you have to think, maybe some players it takes time to read how the enemy team plays and they adjust to it.
Or they even may switch weapons in middle of games, I know if I'm not feeling too hot with my sniper ill switch to my shotgun vise versa too. Or if I don't feel hot with my primary ill switch to a different one. Again it can all be about the moods and how you feel or warming up or how long it takes to read the enemy players.
