I really want to start completely fresh start on Destiny 2. I haven’t played it for a while, and I want to experience the game again ahead of the release of the Witch Queen. That may seem strange, but it’s just the way my brain works..
I’ve tried deleting my old character, and everything in my vault / inventory, but as expected my triumphs and collection history carries over. I was also able to pick up abandoned quests from the tower kiosk (presumably left over from my old character?), and when I accessed other ‘new’ quests for the first time, some steps were already completed / in progress.
I play on Xbox, and I have purchased all of the available expansions (Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and Seasons 12 - 15). I also have a Ultimate GamePass subscription, which gives me access to PC GamePass.
If I download Destiny 2 and all of its available expansions on PC GamePass, would I be able to make a fresh start on Xbox using my new PC account via cross play? Would I also still have access to the expansions and season content?
Thanks!

Edited by dougcpa: 1/15/2022 1:50:09 PMno. D2 is not a play anywhere title. you can set up cross save, but everything would have to be purchased on the xbox.

If the account was the same, then yes, you'd be playing your PC characters with the content already purchased on your Xbox.
