Crossplay
There’s been lag long before crossplay. There’s nothing to suggest that it has increased since crossplay. Better off telling people to fix their own internet.

37 RepliesThe lag has been there since 2014. Stop blaming Crossplay without evidence.

1 ReplyThe one thing that would improve PvP for everyone is dedicated servers but that would cut into Bungie’s profits by 0.04% so that is unacceptable. Yeah, PvP lag is atrocious.

since Bungie doesn't have dedicated servers, no amount of blame given to crossplay will justify blaming it for that. Sure, more player base, but there are also people out there who still think 60mb/s is a good DL speed for online gaming. At minimum, one should have 100. Then you have the one's content with their Walmart 50% off routers, or have the decency to use powerline adapters instead of Wi-Fi. It's also not your console, for whoever thinks that's it, or is using that to flex that they have a PS5, or Xbox Series X. I blame the excess of Free to Play New Lights who have invested this community like locusts

These posts get a lot of “the player base is so low” comments. It isn’t at all. There was no problem getting into games before the anniversary update on console with cross play off, at any time of day. This is forced crossplay. There’s easily more than 10 players you can match with at any time. Who knows why they do this, but then again, who knows why bungie do the things they do to this game that they obviously don’t play or care about themselves. The lunatics are running the asylum.

9 RepliesI play on ps5 and I notice a huge difference when I play with cross play on and off. It just sucks that the better experience is when I turn off cross play, but then I have to deal with 20 minutes of looking for a team.
-
It’s so bad. 99% of the time I notice severe latency or someone lagging they’re crossplay
-
It’s Stadia.

2 RepliesI just heard that there are alot of xbox players that are outside of America while there are more ps here in America. Its also has more impact on Crossplay if players are from another country. Either Crossplay needs to be fix or region restriction should be in place for Trials.

5 RepliesConsole players are very laggy on pc…. They don’t take damage most of the time

2 RepliesEdited by A_mo: 12/29/2021 7:24:35 AMSo so strange. Haven't really been getting any lag lately. Especially when you consider some of the lobbies I've played in. Even when I've lost pretty bad where it would used to be like "its a loss so what if your shots don't register," I've had shot registration. The last match I played today the other team had a 96% chance of winning on DT and a lot of the time something like that would be a horror show in terms of gameplay quality but it felt absolutely delightful. I don't think I've ever been happier to get completely destroyed by titans on exodus blue.

2 RepliesYou're ridiculous you won't get matched with PC players unless you have a PC player on your team & have never experienced any lag with Xbox players bud, maybe check your internet connection 1st.

3 RepliesWhat do you play on cause console can turn crossplay off
-
32 RepliesYea game latency between Xbox and ps can be really bad.... In your option you can turn off crossplay(but will only match other player that turned off that option and trial requires it to be on) It honestly need to be removed and worked on..it didn't improve anything just made new problem made old problem more apparent and it not even faster to get a game
-
3 RepliesYeah I've noticed it's been super laggy ever since crossplay.
