Cross save issues from console to PC
Hello,
When cross save first came out I linked a steam account that has since been deleted and I can no longer login to it to authenticate it and remove the account from my Bungie account. The link above is my screenshot from the steam support browser attempting to find it to get the login information. Since it doesn't exist anymore on steam's end can I please get some help removing the old account so I can link my new steam account and make the switch from console to PC.

Hello there[url=https://media.giphy.com/media/KOVlHmbBA09XO/giphy.gif],[/url] In order to unlink an account, you must be able to authenticate it, which means you must be able to log into it. Bungie cannot forcibly de-link it. [b]I would suggest contacting the platform concerning recovering the platform account.[/b] If you are unable to gain access to your account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile.

3 RepliesEdited by Chill: 12/20/2021 12:40:51 AMHey, Unfortunately no Bungie forum member can assist in unlinking a cross save, you will need to work with steam to see if there is anything that can be done in terms of reauthenticating the account and being able to use the credentials to sign in again, also note that Bungie cannot unlink an account on behalf of anyone for security reasons.
