Game keeps freezing during gambit
Don’t know what’s up but I’ve never had this issue before. Now it’s happened 3 times in a row. Just getting frustrating since I have to quit all they way back out and go in again.

I am having the same problem. I get to play maybe two or three matches then it just freezes in the middle of the match. I have checked the router for updates rebooted the router and also rebooted and cleaned the cache on the Xbox. It is only in gambit

1 ReplyEvery last gambit match I play does this. It's getting freaking annoying. And it's been happening for months now. Bungie come on man. I'm the gambit guy... doesnt matter what I play on, Xbox, PC, PS4. Crashes every. Last. Game.

It's happened to me several times now. Different days, 2 different Xboxes (a Series X and a One X) and only in the middle of a Gambit match.

Having the same issue. Game doesn't crash/dashboard, just freezes.

Four times in a row now the game has frozen. Happened several time yesterday too. Sometimes I finish a game without an issue. Seems random. Dare I say I’m using Telesto? XB1. Happens on all maps against various enemies. Really frustrating because I’m farming lures for Coup de Grace mission completion. I know you got a lot on your plate, Bungie. Thanks for reading this. Same here. Every time i played a Gambit Match it froze in the middle of the game and throw me back to the PS5 menu. Once it froze in the orbit, while i was searching for a solution.

Same for me 4 times now. Says I left but I had no choice. This has only started since the anniversary update on 12/7.

has happened twice today, Total freeze, can't access any menu. Only way I was able to go out was switching to another game and then come back to D2. Of course, I got the message that "I had left the game". It is a total freeze of the game, interestingly some sound still can be heard... sort of like a background wind sound. Second time I have not left to see if it automatically ends me when game is over. ANNOYING!!!
