Maybe this season it isnt the best over other weapons but what about next season? Or the season after? Also for the nostalgia alone gjallarhorn is worth it.

The hate was real. I started playing right after The Dark Below dropped. My first week playing, I met some guys doing strikes. They asked if I wanted them to run me through the NF (my first, Archon Priest), sure, sounds fun. The NF was a b, but we got through it. Next thing I know, one of them is cussing me out saying it's not fair, and then he rage quits. I ask the other dude what happened. Yeah, gjally dropped for me on my first NF during my first week of playing. Had the whole situation explained to me. It's hilarious now. Then, too.

Get an exotic primary/special instead[/quote] Considering that in master level activities there should be no more complaints about overload champions due to this weapon I think its well worth it. Fire one arrow to stun then 2 rockets and they cease to exist. Even more so once you have the catalyst completed. Without the catalyst it depends on distance but if you are close enough you just have enough time to stun, fire one rocket, reload and shoot again before their regen starts. Apparently with 6 against atheon the fight becomes a joke and atheon goes down rather quick.

4 RepliesWhat makes it so bad is I've had Gjallarhorn going on 3 times now...had it in D1 and it was taken away only to do a quest to reacquire it only to have it taken away again and now another quest to get it again. when are we going to stop having to pay for the same weapons' over and over, i know people will say no one is making me spend my money, all I'm saying is stop making us pay for the same things over and over.
