Cross Save - deactivated steam account
Hi I have deactivated my steam account (which was only there for cross save and never used) but now the system has me in limbo and won't remove an account because it can't be authorised etc. I'm hoping someone from support can help because the front end won't let me fix it for few reasons. Plus there's a (user stupidity related) privacy issue. Keen to resolve.

Bungie cannot forcibly de-link it. [b]I would suggest contacting the platform concerning recovering the platform account.[/b] If you are unable to gain access to your account, then you will not be able to deactivate cross save or unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile.

21 RepliesSorry but the authentication system is there for security reasons and as such Bungie will not remove the account for you for any reason. You will have to work with Steam.
