Deleting Prisms to collect Prisms is unacceptable.
Resetting ranks should not be a negative experience. Deleting Prisms to collect Prisms is absurd.
Because I play a lot of GM's, all of my armour is masterworked and all three characters have full stacks of Prisms and Shards in postmaster because the stack sizes are too small and we can only have one stack of each.
We need larger stack sizes, multiple stacks and/or the ability to vault Prisms and Shards.
Please explain why we cannot hold more upgrade materials? If we put the hours and hours into grinding endgame content, reward us with the ability to collect what we receive.

2 RepliesIt's also insane that 1 prism costs 400 legendary shards from spider. I'd be surprised if anyone bought prisms from him because of how much of a scam it is.

8 RepliesOne of the biggest problems of D2 is a totally broken economy. People who play regularly have, what feels like, an infinite amount of legendary shards, enhancement cores, glimmer, weapon parts and tokens. The only exception is prisms and ascendent shards and that is because it has a small cap. D1 never had such a big issue because you had to constantly spend your ressources on upgrading your gear (which I personally liked but it has its pros and cons). I understand that it‘s hard to find a good reward model in endgame live-service games but bungie really failed big time there. And I really hope they will confront that issue.

Now that the community has had a year to play catch up with the 1%'ers its a problem? Sure it is but you lot are a bunch of hypocrites. You know what we did? Gritted out teeth and masterworked aeon gloves from collections to take up our already lacking of vault space. So what another half year till ya all acknowledge we need more vault space and not dismiss it. Because while the threads do pop up if you read the responses they are also mostly dismissive.

That's why I only have ONE complete armor set masterworked. And if you're maxed out is because you're not using them.

Better, why don't we have no limit on how many we can hold? Putting limits on how many item we can hold doesn't make sense whatsoever

1 ReplyEdited by VortexRulez: 11/30/2021 8:44:43 PMIt's even more frustrating you cannot reset your Crucible, Vangaurd or Gambit if your Prisms are full. You need to search for gear to spend it on. I think i have 75% of my gear at level 8 or 9. I always spend a few on gear i have room to spend on, just to keep some room for resets etc. Cores and Legendary shards are being obtained like mad with huge room into your inventory. But they need to increase the amount of prisms and shards to keep in your inventory, instaed of stacking onto your postmaster. As they need to increase vault space !! There’s [b]way way[/b] too many materials in this game All we need is [b]*Glimmer[/b] (higher cap, 1mn), [b]*Legendary Shards[/b] [b]*Ascendant Prisms[/b] (no need for Ascendant Shards) With ways to store ([b]all[/b]) & lock them in the vault & possibly with the new WQ crafting ([b]*Weapon[/b] [b]Parts[/b]) Bungie could make the material grind simple (and easier for new players to grasp) the [b]fully[/b] masterworked(10) of [b]armour[/b] allows for elemental switching (costing maybe 20k Glimmer [i]per[/i] switch - Affects/costs nothing else, just elements (and obvious mod removal) & re-roll of masterwork on weapons (5x Banshee bounty & 50k glimmer) Will simplify the whole thing Just allow a trade in of ALL other materials (too many to list) for the [b]4 *Bold[/b] materials (via Banshee/Ada) Edit: Obviously there will be the Seasonal material - but that only needs to be 1-2 extra items (per season, extras that can also be traded in for the [b]4*[/b] at the end)

Yes to this why if I'm willing to put the time and effort into farming grand master nightfalls am I handicapped on the endgame materials and it is stupid to delete some just to get some

If you have that many mats. Then delete a golf ball, make a new one. Problem solved.

If you constantly have a full stack and have to delete them to pick up more you aren’t loosing anything or need the ones your deleting. You’re just upset you can’t hold something you already have enough of and no use for.

1 ReplyI would love if they let is trade them for core or upgrade modules. For now dont delete, just pull a blue armor piece from collections and masterwork to tier 8 then delete. It will change your prisms to 3 cores.

There needs to be a currency exchange for everything both ways including “downgrades.” Even if the available exchanges rotated daily like Spider now. Hopefully in WQ, but I’m not keeping my hopes up as Rahool has always been a tool.
