Rat King catalyst
Dose this catalyst even still exists? Has it been disabled? I've run Playlist and Nigthtfalls with no catalyst drops.

I think it only drops from a version of arms dealer strike. I heard that from somewhere I dont remember, I finished it a year ago

12 RepliesDo you have any catalysts that you haven't completed yet? They might be holding you back on getting new ones. I usually don't have any catalysts in progress and I get new ones right away.

for me it’s the wardcliff coil. completed all my catalysts and still didn’t see it drop yet

Should be able to find the drop source in the catalyst collections. The Droprate feels rather low though (I just got my Wardcliff catalyst like 2 weeks ago for example)

1 ReplyThe Rat King catalyst "quest" should still drop if someone in your fireteam is using the Rat King (ie: run a PvP match with a fireteam and that person is using the Rat King, at the end of the match the quest will drop for you). At least 1 person in your fireteam needs to use the Rat King while you work through the quest together, it takes about 45 minutes. Send me a Bungie Friend request if you want help, I've run it probably 30 times :) EyeBurn#6049 PC main, but cross-play allows us to group no matter which platform you're on

It requires a fireteam all use the Rat King to progress the Catalyst. I found it easiest to do in Alters Of Sorrow. It took about 15 minutes with just 3 people using Rat King. Definitely worth it...

It’s pretty random drop , got a few years back never touched it. Finished the catalyst few months ago and it’s totally worth it.

Got it just this last month. The kill req is kinda dumb since you still need to party up with other users to make progress.

Got my catalyst from strikes felt like I did 30+ in a row. Hated every second of it.
