Would I be too old at 67y

This Is awesome. I'm 28 but have the soul of of someone way older so I feel this big time. Glad to see older gamers.

I’m 71 and have been playing Destiny since the Beta D1. Had a Pong game back I the day and just about every console made up to todays consoles and PC. Short answer would be play the game! Play many games. It’s good for our mental acuity and hand eye coordination. Sometimes I can’t jump or shoot straight, but at this point, who cares. Try hard and die a lot is my motto!

Been gaming since 1978 and won't stop till i'm in the ground... Or my eyesight goes... Or dementia kicks in... Or having to go for toilet breaks every 5 minutes or so... not far away from this one if I'm honest... You get the picture. P.s. never to old for this game either.

I am a fair bit older and have loved Sci Fi for ever so Destiny was great when it came along. I play on a regular basis and it's still fun. Dive in you do not need a lot of the fancy kit to do most of the activities. A lot of PVE is easy as long as you remember to use the cover and not to be a hero and dive straight in. PvP will be a grind unless you have good reflexes and are good with the aiming. There are some people out there with amazing reflexes and skill who are real stompers so hang back until you get to know the maps. The only thing I would try to learn quickly is what the various weapon mods do so that if you get a 'God Roll' on a weapon early you do not inadvertently thrash it.

For D2? Not at all. You’re never too old to play video games. Everyone finds entertainment in different activities. If you find entertainment in video games, go for it.

I'm 58 and enjoy playing. You can pretty much do anything in PVE using patience. PVP is a different story the reflexes really show up here, this past year I have really struggled and the KD has tanked so I just run in a support role for the youngsters on my team so therefore I still have fun.

Life is more simple than you think if you want it do it. Worried about playing with others don't be plenty of content in the game and something for everyone might take some finding though.

2 RepliesI don’t think you’re too old. I am late fifties and I have fun. I can’t solo strikes or legend lost sectors or anything like that but I have fun. I never played a video game until a couple of years ago, if you are the same you will have a learning curve. When I can I like to play with others to do more difficult things though they must be patient as I am not as capable as the average gamer. Have fun and enjoy the game, you are not too old to just enjoy it.

PvP: Achieving flawless and unbroken is likely out of reach due to reflexes, and its likely you wont find the format enjoyable because your matches will not have a rank or skill based match making system. but fear not you can be carried as casuals and week end warriors in their prime(16-30s years of age) also prescribe to this method. Keep in mind the[b] VAST MAJORITY[/b] of the player base cheated, win traded, paid a recoverie, or got carried to the light house or have the unbroken title so you are in the majority actually(not a joke atleast 80% of all visits to the light house were done so with dubious methods). The stigma of of useing these methods only comes up if you attempt to join the elitist 1% community. However its also important to point out all methods are either considered cheating or a EULA breach save being carried. PvE: no true bar of entry hear till you try GM, LW, or master VoG. The rest of the raids can be 2 maned or even solo'd(solo atraks, 2 man riven legit, solo GM is a right of entry in my clan) and can have every roll taken over by an experienced duo where every one else is placed on killing basic enemys and not ever delegated responsibility. And even then this is still not really the case for GM or master VoG because its only real barrier is light level and optimal load out. Also keep in mind the majority of players also take non-essential rolls in raids and dont have more then 5-10 clears. If your comparing your self to the avg player by no means are you "too old".
