Vex drop rate - bad game experience
The vex drop rate is ridicolous.
37 attempt, not a single drop and this fact is ruining my game experience.
Is a good weapon, really unique and usefull both pvp and pve, and Bungie made a BAD choice with the drop rate.
We spend hundreds of Euro in this game, for game, dlc's, ornaments and crap and you guyz didnt find a way to make it droppable like you did for 1k voices????

I was blessed to have gotten all raid exotics around 1-5 runs. Vex took me 17 complete normal runs on the other hand 😅 *only missing div

I have never done the Glassway of Stars Raid but signed into my profile and it was in my gear inbox on each character with the catalyst included. Also got A wolfpack rocket launcher that i dismantled for shards.

Amazing the toxicity and trolls of Destiny no support at all I feel your pain I’m at 47 looted clears most of them full clears. I’m with you it’s become a chore doing these honestly just canceled my witch queen pre order. I don’t think it’s fair for the ppl that do 40+ don’t get it but then someone does it once or twice gets it then doesn’t even play the game. 1k took me 36 times but vex has been my favorite gun since VOG in D1.

1 ReplyPeople need to understand that this isn't entirely random at all. Your drop rate is a percentage chance, but that percentage chance will be drastically lower for people who play the raid week in week out on possibly multiple characters. Bungie wants you in game as much as possible. If you're the sort of person who will follow a carrot on a stick, then Bungie is happy to dangle that carrot. You have 37 raid clears and Bungie knows you'll clear probably at least another 20 before giving up. Therefore expect to be doing this a while longer. Their ENTIRE business model is grind. Get people to grind, the more they stay in game the more likely the are to spend money. That's it. The minute you get that Vex is the minute you stop playing and do something else.

Only 37... Now is that a full run or just check point Atheon??!! Because then 37 is way not enough... It Takes 5-7 min to destroy Atheon, keep going then...

11 RepliesI bet you only run checkpoints. 37 checkpoints don't amount to anything! It's a little known fact that a few years ago, around the time Bungie first added the drop protections, they also made changes to how the drops worked. 1. If you don't play as often, you have a higher chance of acquiring the weapon. This is why people that are just returning to the game after a break, running a raid, and they get it after the first couple attempts. 2. If you only run boss check points, your drop rate is or isn't affected. Laziness is not rewarded. 3. Running the full raid has an increased chance at dropping. Only very slightly. When was 1k ever made a drop? Last time I checked, you still need to acquire the key and open the chest at the end. That was just a "BAD, BAD, and BAD" example!

7 RepliesNobody tell him about the type of RNG needed for other MMO games. You think Destiny 2 has bad drop rates? Try a 1% chance for an invisible chest to spawn AND a 1% chance the chest has the item you want out of it. ~3% chance on a weapon thats almost too good not to pass up is being generous bud.

2 RepliesI don't believe it's rare (I never do raids so will never find out for myself), but Crucible seem to have at least 3-4 Vex users in every lobby, out of 12.

I got mine at 41 clears. A clan mate is well above 80 and still waiting for one to drop...

Took me 55 lootable clears 4.5 months. Keep at it,it will drop. Trust me it will.
