8 RepliesEdited by Lull9: 11/14/2021 7:29:36 PMNah, if you need to spam/abuse icarus dash in order to "compete" in PvP you pay the price haha.

It's honestly a victim of power creep. I never run top tree dawn anymore in PvP because its garbage. One dodge means nothing, Celestial Fire was never that good against players with a brain who wont peak when hurt or stand near corners and the daybreak projectiles are a joke. Whenever I'm super charged internally sigh and think to myself "Oh boy I guess I have to pop my super now and have 3 projectiles refuse to track or do full damage." Bottom tree let's me heal whenever I need to (great against Le Monarque spammers) and use Balanced Glide to have a Super that can chase without needing to use super energy to dash. Oh, and my projectiles actually hit and kill things.

what is there to fix? its one of the best supers

1 ReplyIt’s not strictly the hit detection that’s to blame. It’s that it doesn’t have tracking and after people use bottom tree they aren’t used to actually aiming where you want to throw. Especially when leading is involved. With a bit of practice and learning where it will actually hit not look like it’s hitting it will begin feeling a lot more accurate.

4 RepliesLoL You don’t know how good you have it. ~Sentinel Mains

2 RepliesIts hit registration in general that needs fixing. Melees in particular need help more than anything

Edited by SAXplayer7: 11/15/2021 7:52:15 PMTop tree dawn needs a hefty nerf so far into the ground that it should be just above the inner core.

3 Repliesits the best super in the game... with MnK its got the best movement, its got the best attack a one shot auto tracking projectile that track with proximity, and it has damage resistance its the best super in the game now cus chaos reach got nerfed

Welcome to the club. Melee based supers have suffered from this for years. Ever since cross play was introduced the lag/hit detection/registration has been worse than before. I didn’t think that was possible.
-
I thought it is only me. Not hitting 1 out of 3, projectiles just fly through the enemies. Thought it is a lag.

3 Repliesyeah lets make the strongest super in the game even better git gud.

6 Replies*Hits enemy directly* 140 damage

4 RepliesNo. The super is fine. The subclass have the best neutral gameplay in the game. And often you get killed even when it lands next to you. If it have registration issues for you, it doesnt have anything to do with the super at all. But with how bad d2 servers are

2 RepliesDawnblade hit detection might be bad but is it hit an enemy 4 times with sentinel shield and result in no damage bad?
-
This has been an issue every since Warmind and I’ve been bringing it up time and time again and not once has Bungie mentioned it. And no, it’s not a lag or connection issue. The problem is when the projectile detonates early so it looks like it should kill but it only does around 70 damage. They just have bigger fish to fry I guess.

11 RepliesIts lag. Hit registration is op. It flys around corners.
