"You could manage your vault better, delete those old items."
"Nope, I have only 1 hour after daywork, If I have to spend it on managing stupid items, I would rather to play Warframe/Division/Fallout76/GTA/RDR/Any other stupid games I can extend my VAULT !!! Even mobile games !!!"
Do you think the game is enough cool to make players manage their valut everyday with a deep true touching LOVE?
I bought Year 3, I didn't buy Year 4, and I won't buy Year 5, until the vault get extended.
AFK players usually not post a thread in their AFK game's forums, cherish it.

If they don't want to increase vault space , they could simply make it cheaper or free to switch elements on armor , so people don't feel the need to have 4 sets of everything Not something I struggle with, but would be a nice quality of life upgrade

108 RepliesTo all those players that comment saying "no", or "stop hoarding", or "delete stuff" or other -blam!- comments like these, I say that as a player that plays all of D2 activities I have : 1 set of raid armour per char for every raid (60 pcs) 1 set of armour per char, per element for pve high end content (60 pcs) 1 set of armour per char, per element for pvp content (60 pcs) At least 1 of every exotic armour piece with high stats (100/130 pcs) So that's just armour (and not all of it), and I already have used 280/310 slots... That leaves just about 200 for weapons, most are god rolls, most I use on at least a weekly basis, and most i have grinded to obtain. Even if I only had 1 weapon of the same archetype and different element we would still be talking of at least 200+ slots used... ...ooops, guess what, no more slots in the vault to put stuff into... ...as you can see, no one that plays ALL of the game is hoarding anything, more vault space is desperately needed. And even worse, more stuff is added with every expansion, some will inevitably take the place of others, that is a fact, but a new exotic armour piece with a 65 roll will defo not be deleted, this is also a fact.

Why would it take longer than 10 minutes to sort out your vault? I've collected items since day 1 but some (most) things aren't worth keeping. And even if you had to sacrifice one day of play time to get sorted for the rest of the season, isn't that worth it? I belive it's called organization. We all have stuff in our vaults that carry meaning for us, hell I've got like a few dozen sunset weapons I'll never part ways with, but the rest is garbage. We don't need 1 of everything in the game. I can bet that 90% of the items in your vault never get used

2 RepliesLet us purchase 1,000 spaces of Premium Vault Space in the Eververse Store for 1,000 Silver/mo!

1 ReplyTo be fair, a lot of people literally have weapons they're never going to touch again and waiting for it be good again when we all know that weapon at some point will just be re-issued with better perks and that vault soace could be used for something you know you're gonna use maybe tomorrow or like a week later. We should get more vault space but that doesnt mean fill it with weapons with their only purpose being to collect dust and HOPE one of the perks on it gets changed and make it stupid broken.

1 ReplyWe need a Vault increase no matter what anyone says. The Collection Tab is laughably useless. Bungle gutted half the game only to remove more of it in February, so there isn't even an argument that the game is too big for a larger Vault. If your solution is to just delete stuff, then you've never played a game where loot is the core concept.

3 RepliesTell me. What exactly are you gonna do with 1000 guns? Huh? SIT ON THEM? WHAT? You don't need 6 godrolled fatebringers. You don't need 20 well rolled legal actions. You don't need 1000 vault slots....

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 11/12/2021 4:37:23 AMBe known as the guardian that sacrificed themselves to create vault space Delete your guardians, destroy all your in game belongings, delete your account We will use your light to build more vault space We will call this The Quickening It leads to the Prize There can be only one! We choose you! We will put a plaque up in the loo, probably somewhere distinguished & noticeable target practice etc

2 RepliesWe don’t need more vault space cause you don’t have time, we need it cause of FOMO. Guns and perks get changed through the years. if I wanna keep a Jurassic green with rangefinder and adrenaline junkie only cause bungie makes trash guns/perks to only make them better, that becomes the real issue IMO.

6 RepliesJust get rid of stuff you don't use....easy.

6 RepliesNo time to delete items in vault but plenty of time to make a post -blam!- about not having time.

2 RepliesI found out accidentally that by doing a deep true silent cursing instead of touching LOVE would make the pathetic matter much pleasant.

The problem is that the vault was designed for a THREE YEAR GAME CYCLE. We're going into year 5, and yeah, a lot of stuff was sunset, but there has been many new weapons introduced each season, and now with stasis, that means one more armor piece for every character, as well as exotics. And on top of all that, we're getting weapon crafting and glaives next year. Even just 100 more slots would help out dramatically.

Dead horse. They are still not competent enough at their job to add some server capacity to store more user data without breaking their entire spaghetti code game running on an engine from the early 2000's.

How else are we gonna store are we gonna store all those hip fire grip elemental capacitor sniper rifles. These posts remind me of an episode of hoarders.

1 ReplyEdited by JazzyPaladin477: 11/10/2021 4:50:18 PMYes it needs to be 500 per character not shared, because of armour. Weapons are not the problem. My vault is just full of armor. It’s the shitty armor stat system that is the problem. In order to build high tier armor sets (tier 31/32/33), with the stats where you want them(double or triple 100’s) you need to accumulate hundreds of pieces per character per build. DIM needs a Massive pool to pull from to get the stats to add up with minimal wastage. They really need to have every armor stat end in a multiple of 5, and give ability bonuses on stat increments of 5 not 10. Would solve a lot of this mess.

It's been an argument for years but with the new gun perks that can be meta any sandbox change and armor mods being locked off like stasis armor not supporting warmind mods plus resistance mods tied to chest pieces for void ,ark ,statis resistance etc so I totally agree with a vault space increase .

2 RepliesU don't need more vault space just quit hoarding and delete useless items

1 ReplyEdited by Knight: 11/10/2021 5:49:47 PMI’ve never really understood why people actively argue against vault space. Sure hoarding items isn’t ideal nor is it efficient but it’s a looter shooter. The whole point of the game is to collect loot. There’s no reason to say no to vault space because it benefits EVERYONE. You might not need to use it which is fine. But others who would like the extra space should be able to have it. I think the main problem that really exasperates the issue is the fundamental way the mod system and elemental affinities work. If we were able to get rid of elemental change costs and save loud outs, people wouldn’t need to hold on to multiple sets of armor. I think the new weapon crafting will help by guaranteeing a roll you want rather than holding on to multiple copies.

1 ReplyNice fake account

2 RepliesIf I only had an hour to play I wouldn’t even bother playing… That’s me though.
-
4 RepliesIt’s a fair point but it’s not going to happen, I believe. In the end, the limited space leads to you playing more bc you have to re-grind stuff and all that. So you keep playing the same activities etc., which is economically very efficient for Bungie bc they don’t have to invest anything and they can just recycle their content that way. It’s like low key sunsetting.
-
If the collections tab was worth a damn vault space wouldn't be an issue.
-
With as often as you play, you cant have more than 50 items at the most. Opinion not valid.
-
1 ReplyYou don't even play....bruh whut?

Just quit school smh 🙄
