The worst match making game in the history of gaming!
You really need to fix matchmaking. It is an absolute joke at this point. I had 10 matches in a row last night where my team got annihilated. ZERO enjoyment playing an PVP activity. I play console and I'm going up against guys who are hopping all over the place. If you play with a joystick I'm pretty sure you cannot move like that. To my knowledge current cross play is console to console unless you choose to join a PC party. If you want to keep your fan base this needs to be addressed sooner than later.

You gotta go in, Bakris Stasis Hunter with God tier weapons or you end up dying constantly. Bungo nerfed warlock stasis twice in the first month of Beyond Light, but made us wait months for a shatterdive nerf. The same crap every game makes it monotonous and boring. I can do 100 raids and each one will be more unique and interesting than crucible games. Spend 5 minutes in matchmaking, spend 5 minutes with aim bot lag hunters just throwing shatter nades everywhere, and then repeat for however long you play. Then you add in the scuff controllers, xim, macros on MnK, whatever little cheesy advantage they can give themselves. And for what? A larger KD in a game without skill rankings because there is no skill based matchmaking? So they can brag to their -blam!- racist buddies in Discord? Hunters are the developer's favorite whiny children. $20 says their void 2.0 update makes them god tier at endgame too and then there will be no reason to play anything else. Choosing to main a warlock was a stupid move and I don't feel like changing. When warlocks finally become entirely useless (and it's coming soon, we're basically only good for Well now), that's when I quit D2 altogether.

1 ReplyThere is. It’s the stupid Lobby Balancing. (YES ITS A FORM OF SBMM), but if you want SBMM, play COMP. There should never be SBMM in pubs/QP/Social and etc. especially in Destiny 2 lol

I finally hit my limit tonight. Quickplay Control. Enemy team was almost completely stacked with amazing players. I couldn't even leave spawn without get destroyed. Took about 3 mins into the match to realize resistance was futile. I've finally come to the point where unless SOMETHING changes I'm done with PVP altogether in this game. We need SBMM and or a Ranking system. Better parity. It's almost always 8/12 hunters in 6v6 and 4/6 Hunters in 3v3. Special Ammo needs to be more limited. Multiple weapons and abilities need disabled until they are probably balanced no waiting for months to fix broken things DISABLED. Servers and connections as a whole need looked at. Players straight up immune to damage or taking 3 to 4 seconds to even register damage. MAPS MAPS MAPS MAPS MAPS MAPS. I'm starting to wonder if Bungie isn't having some Blizzard-esque problems in house.

15 RepliesI moved to xbox for new gen, after 6 years on PS4. Thing I noticed straight away, these kids are cracked. Ive never seen someone shoot (headshot) , whilst jumping backwards, sliding, reloading, shoot again, in 1 instant smooth movement, before. Just controllers with paddles, or controllers with scripts (yes it's a thing, it inputs 3-4-5 button presses faster than a human could even think it), or people using xim (mouse and keyboard with controller benefits like aim assist) Then there's people on 120fps monitors who see you and react way before you do, especially if you're on series S and/or a big TV. This game doesn't have a big skill gap, but has a huge disparity in the tools we use outside of the game, affecting what happens in-game.. If you're on a big TV, stock controller, playing alone, you gonna be miserable. These kids have better reflexes, more frames, paddles, scripts, faster refresh rates, no input lag, kontrol freekz, usually in teams and communicating. There's also snap on aim, no recoil, faster fire rates and other benefits from strike packs, seen it in the cod this week, it's why I put the game on eBay. Moral of the story, just do your bounties or weekly stuff, then gtfo.

1 ReplyI really do not think Bungie is capable of making a quality PvP experience. They fail and fail again, while proving how idiotic they are. Multiple games in a row having to sweat my balls off against 6 stacks in -blam!- quickplay. I can't play to have fun in this game anymore

1 ReplyI've seen many complaints from xbox players stating that ps4 players are disrupting their games, and vice versa. I keep cross play off at all times, except when [i]forced [/i]to to play trials What in the name of Hells teeth were Bungie thinking about to even contemplate the idea of all platforms playing together in harmony, when they haven't been able to solve the problems that already exist? It's just added fuel to an already blazing fire.

[/quote] You do know that there's the bumper jumper layout, people holding controllers in claw, and stuff like the xbox elite controller having paddles on the back... right? It's not hard to understand that there's more than one way to use a controller lol

I don't think Bungie is capable of doing that. How many years have they said "we're looking into it'? There has to come to a point when reality needs to set in. Then you have to consider out of the entire player base who is actually more important to them.

I was on the losing side of multiple matches of "I've seen enough!" only to be put in back to back matches of games in progress that were so lopsided they ended the same way.

I don’t know what happened but midway through the season lobby balancing just got god awful. Idk I felt like I suddenly hit a brick wall a while ago and I’ve just dropped crucible for this season for the most part. Not to mention the lag is probably at its worst.

Its weird too because I normally face top streamers on pc and to see console be harder is confusing. Maybe its just me and I suck because I got so used to the xbox controller on pc that the ps5 feels off or maybe there really is something else going on. Im not talking about matchmaking if hat wasn’t clear.

Yup, I’ve been in matches like that, just not 10 in a row. 😳 Best bet is to back out any try again later. Play some survival, the MMing is better.

It none-stop scrim teams and top tire sweats sniping the streamer's lobby just to get an emblem they getting mercies and blow outs over and over. the person has gone from being chilled to what im i here.. its crazy to watch im a pvp player but its my community that's killing pvp not causals or..Matchmaking i have one hope that bungie devs are watching the person stream so they can see just what the causals go thought day in day out https://www.twitch.tv/michi check it out for yourselves `We have made our bed` im gonna get hate for this but it needs to be talked about.. why has the pvp side of the game become so toxic selfish its always been harsh but man o man, its gotten way worse. is gatekeeping trials not enough do we need to take BB also.
