The GM this week is super easy, but it is such a pain to leave cover, shoot, and go back in cover and also down the hallway only to see Vandal, Overload, and Resilient Captain arc bullets swoop in and track me like I owe it child support.
One overload champion shot at me, and the bullets followed me behind two different sets of cover, and into a separate room. They eventually fizzled out but the overload gained all his health back and we had to start the encounter over again.
All fallen have are wire rifles, the tracking rifles, or the 3-spread shotgun and they're all one hit kill weapons in a GM.
Fallen need more weapon variety.

1 ReplyTechnically Fallen DO have more potential variety, it's just that some weapons are restricted to certain enemies. 2 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 11/7/2021 12:19:25 PMFor the same reason we find fighting teleporting Captains frustrating to fight. Prior to The Whirlwind, all Eliksni were like Captains. Easier to fight with weapons that slowly track down your target instead of trying beat their next teleport. But what is really bothering is the fact that GMs are ridiculously overtuned, to the point that the Guardian power-fantasy is destroyed. All that effort and build crafting….to hide from trash mobs that can two-bang you, and mid level enemies that can OHK you. A random forum poster said it best whe The Division was in a place where it was also very poorly tuned: The devs like to say that The Division is a combination of tactical shooter and an RPG. The problem is that the NPCs are playing a tactical shooter (we die to them so fast), while we get stuck playing an RPG (and enemies are ridiculous bullet sponges). It took that game nearly dying….and another long-and-drawn out conflict between devs and players over the tuning of The Division 2 before Massive grudgingly accepted that people don’t want to spend hours grinding for loot….to die instantly the second they leave cover.
