Whether it's crucible or iron banner there's no gun fights anymore. It's just one hit fusion rifles/shotguns or whatever. There's no enjoyment or excitement in crucible when everybody is just one shot killing each other. You either join in or accept that you will constantly be at a disadvantage and have to suffer through each match. I've already abandoned Any plans of playing iron banner after finishing a game where every time I died it was to a one hit weapon. It's just torture trying to get through a game. Other than having to play 3 games for pinnacle gear I go out of my way to avoid PvP when it was an aspect of the game I used to love. A mode where one hit weapons aren't allowed would be ideal as I don't see any way this could be fixed otherwise.

You aren’t going to convince players to understand where you are coming from on the matter unless they are also in the same boat or prefer gunfights with primaries too. It is like players who say using the META is an advantage or true skill in this game and everything else is a disadvantage even though Bungie purposely set the game like that internally every season. I mean look at how players are abusing Shatterdive and saying players should get good against it rather than actual engaging in a gunfight with a primary. When D2 was in the whole double primary state, the game flowed better in PVP but if sucked in PVE. Was there more camping and team shooting back then? Yes but has that changed really at all with players having special weapons and more 1HK potential at their disposal??? Nope. The only thing you can do is improve whatever flaw you are having to prevent yourself from being in that situation as much. Destiny is by far one of the easiest and most unskilled games via a FPS shooter due to how cheesy and unbalanced it has become. It doesn’t help that the maps are still roughly the same and the META shift truthfully hasn’t changed. You add that with piss poor changes to lobby balancing or matchmaking and it is by far one of the worst experiences you can be in. Bungie would rather try to fix Trials than address the whole core PVP experience and that in itself is a “Red Flag”.
