never had this much fun since d1 going to the reef to pick up bounties from brother lance with my no land beyond and havok pigeon on my side! luv u bungie! dont listen to the haters listen to your d1 fans!

A few weeks ago did it solo before freelance was enabled and it was a sweat fest. Yes, my lifetime k/d sucks, but oh well, at least I can say I got there twice. So I hope Bungie keeps it in rotation.

1 ReplyIt would be good if it didnt make the normal playlist have super long queue times. I had no problem doing well from solo queuing before there was freelance. I know I am in a minority but just sharing my experience, all I have noticed from freelance is normal queue times being super long

1 ReplyI had a great time playing trials solo que this weekend. Im older my reflexes aren't what they used to be so I stay away from regular trials. I think it was great I would at least like to see it a few times a season. Ive only played trials 2 times before and knew I was in over my head. I lost most of my games but had a few great 3v1 plays that I came out on top. I lost alot but I really had fun.

Its even worse then before. They put all the good players on one team and dont even try to balance the teams.

I don’t get it. Matchmaking seems wack. Like I have a friend in the UK who’s breezing through it. He went solo flawless twice already. Meanwhile, I couldn’t get past 3 wins to save my life. My buddy who lives near me was having the same issue (and he’s a pvp legend). It was either stomp or get stomped in my lobbies.

Freelance is great but the mm is so bad and being dissconnected to lose mercy then having to face sweats with bots on my team just makes me hate this games pvp even more. I hope trials works out for the people that enjoy the game mode. I truely get no satisfaction from flawless and playing solo is just boring and annoying because 90% of my team mates are just bots. I end up giving it 100% just to have some thumbless clown run at the enemy team every round or lose mercy to a dc then have to face sweats with bots lol. I know if I just keep playing I'll get flawless eventually but I honestly just dont care anymore. I play apex far more and just jump on destiny once a week to get flawless. It feels pointless. I'm not sure if I'll ever get back into pvp like I used to but for now at least I'm done. Freelance us great apart from the DC's and bad mm.

I still think they had it right with Forsaken, just delete Trials and make something better with loot. Imagine if Survival, with SBMM and Freelance, had the loot of Trials.

How are the queue times for each pool today? I heard it took 20 min to find a game on PC for flawless pool fireteam. I believe there is 8 pools active now. 77K players active in the last hour. 9.6K for each pool if even. I like it & loath pvp. It's like Boot Camp with rewards. You get your butt kicked & they give you shiny stuff. But seriously, it's a great intro for those of us that normally wouldn't for whatever personal reasons. I have a 0.85 kd after almost 6 years and you know what, some of us do try. This gives us the chance to play with some elite players, learn from them and try different loadouts. And get rewarded for our time. I've gotten every weapon & piece of armor. This is a great reward system for solo players for time spent. And guess what, those reluctant friends/clans members they didn't play Trials with you before, maybe now after practicing their skills, they might.

Edited by KittenHuffer05: 10/24/2021 9:11:27 PMThe idea of cross-play is good for bring more people together as a whole, but that should really only be implemented for mostly only the PvE content within Destiny. For any type of PvP content inside the game cross-play shouldn't be used I feel. Anything that deals with a player vs player competitive format should be made equal so people can't have a higher advantage over another in which I'm not talking about a person skill level in said content. For example a PC player vs a console player should never be qued together they should only be able to stick to playing with other in their same field. With that being said that's not really going to stop others from using other means to bypass grouping with their friends on the same platform via the changing of their location via router vpn or in some sad cases find ways to use cheats like a modded controller, a program, or on console remote play to use all of the above, just to get paid etc from doing so. At the very least it would help to revert just PvP content back to same platform only and keep freelance. Freelance should be added to just about every PvP content. This way group fireteam setups can go against other group setups.

Agreed, I’m a usual stack player but I tried freelance and went flawless (after a few card resets). It’s a way less stressful more enjoyable experience than playing 3stack vs 3stack. I like that solo Q levels the playing field for solo players, everyone is solo, so from a pre-coordinated perspective it’s absolutely even. Obviously match making and individual ability vary greatly but otherwise it’s perfect and should stay in rotation!

Matchmaking for solos is terrible. I won a few matches and now it is nothing but 0-5 losses over and over.

It's better but we need SBMM. Nothing like going against someone with 1.7 million Crucible Kills.

As much as I want ppl to be able to go flawless, the matchmaking for the solo queue doesnt make sense at all.

1 win, 8 losses so far. Might try again after flawless pool went live. Other than that I am more or less done with trials for the season.

Freelance is meaningless if we're still being farmed out to incel trials sweats all day. Doesn't matter if it's in a group or alone, being human trafficked to try hards so they buy witch queen is still garbage and the game mode is RNG, not competitive.
