Freelance just shows how bad matchmaking is
The enemy team gets 3 people who knows what they’re doing. I get a blue berry using two primary’s and a moron warlock running well with jotun

Is like their used to being cornered so they revert to the same are they're always in trouble to begin with just because it's familiar Ex zone A in hanging cliffs, spawn trap and easy targets down noob alley to the left of the zone. They always return there funneling theirselves into easy deaths

14 RepliesBeing honest I should have expected this toxicity but I thought better of people, and was wrong. Now that we can't blame the other side playing as a team everyone is instead blaming their team mates. You know 50% of all pvp matches are losses. No matter how good or bad you play, 50% of games lose. Maybe some people win more some people lose more. But it's just a reality that the majority of players will lose more than they win. This is just a game, a fairly bad one at that, it isn't worth the amount of abuse I've seen directed towards team mates.

You all kept saying freelance would save the game and bashed on me when I said it would have the same issues as comp and IB where it only depends on your teammates. Love to see all of you doing 180s and coming up with new excuses as to why you are losing.

From what I've seen The matchmaking isn't too bad. The pvp sandbox is just absolute dogsh*t There's no skill to factor in with all the cheesy 1 shot bs and horrible map design. You can be a decent player going against another decent player, but if one is just relying on the cheesiest loadoout available. There's a clear advantage.

They matchmake in such a way that you have no chance at flawless. I am terrible at PvP and consistently go against people who are in the top 0.5% of players while I have 2 people in the bottom 50%. The match is decided before you even load in. This is in freelance matchmaking by the way, not normal trials. They bias the teams every game so average players get farmed.

It's simply matching those searching at any given time, no card based, no connection based and certainly no skill based matchmaking. I've justed started a fresh card and on the win one of my teammates went to the lighthouse, I'm on game one - they are on game 7. Bungie are not telling the truth on how matchmaking works, because the truth is it doesn't work at all.

I'm pretty sure mm fails because it's balancing teams after finding players and not gathering people within a close elo range. Ex. You have one person with 3000 elo while everyone else has 1000. the game trys to split the teams as best it can but can't balance the match due to a bad intitial player selection.

Same… i had a match were the other team all had trials flawless gear / weapons… I got an auto rifle / ikeois smg user along with a witherhoard gnawing hunger player 🙄… stomped 5-0 felt like regular trials as a solo player.

Your right. Bunjie loads one side with 3k+ level players and fills other with scrubs to keep the ego trips flowing. Look real close and youkk see hunters are grouped more then any other class....as in they want the -blam!- class to be happy as its 80% and let the others get -blam!- on. 7 years and still no matchmaking and not even a plan to fix it just laughable -blam!- each week that might mention it but just politics....they wont as its how they want it.

Even with a bad roll. There was this one person using double primary (Two AR's) I even went the extra mile to try to invite them to my party on xbox, and help them out. I almost went flawless twice, just to witness my team mates getting man handled on every lighthouse match. Oh yea and one guy switched to double snipers on our second round.... So. I'm gonna go back to playing normal trials with friends. It was one hell of an experience that's for sure. Lots of jaw dropping brain dead moments that honestly made me laugh a bit Good luck on freelance..

3 RepliesIf “optional” matchmaking was a thing in this game then everyone would be happy. You don’t like the skills of your team mates then form your own squad via LFG. Nobody to play with then use the matchmaking and take your chances. Oh wait. Isn’t that sorta, kinda the way Trials is this week? You need to give your head a shake. This is a you problem.

Just went solo flawless. Id say im slighty above average. Gone solo flawless almost every week since revamping. In my honest opinion id say its just the luck of the draw. I had to reset a good amount of cards.
