Nerfing shatterdive = good. So what about the stuff which makes it balanced or on par?
I feel like I’m in the minority for how easy I find it to dodge shatterdive due to its predictability but lo and behold nobody else seems to (probably because most people like to monkey) but it’s being nerfed so whatever.
Where are the stompees, dunemarchers, arc souls, stag, shoulder charge, hhsn, Icarus dash, celestial fire, shadebinder, one eyed mask, vex mythoclast, crimson, Lorentz driver etc. Nerfs?
Warlocks and titans are treated so nicely with the amount of tracking/ overpowered stuff they get whereas outside of dodge and stompees hunters have been shafted, no more one hit abilities for hunters but titans and warlocks standing strong with the amount of bull -blam!- they have.
Sure shatterdive needed a nerf but it’s mostly because apparently next to nobody under the sun was able to adapt, Hunter stasis literally had nothing else going for it so now we are going to have another dead sub class.
I am not saying it doesn’t need a nerf I’m saying that if that’s the only thing which gets nerfed rip hunters only ohk ability (weighted knife doesn’t really count due to needing a precision hit) hello every other class with their one hit abilities

Dunemarchers needs fixing, not nerfing. Even as a Titan main, the thing is buggy as hell that works in my favor.

The ability/super use nerfs are coming. Bungie stated via a tweet this week that PvP will be moving towards more gunplay come witch queen.

Made this long post & aren't even aware that top tree dB was neutered I hate nerfs. Btw. Still waiting for SoDA to be given a little bit of love since it was nerfed into the ground. Also shatterdive does less damage than slapping someone with a feather. The real issue is with aspects that boost the damage from the crystals.

I main hunter and used shatterdive in like 5 games when it was good and went straight back to nightstalker. Then again I don't play against bots so maybe it's harder to land glaciers on mobile targets.

Which is why the nerf game for anything that isn't uncounterable is like a hamster running on a wheel. There is no principled endpoint...and all it does is invite other people to complain about the things they find annoying, or that are a counter to their preferred play style. Especially in a game like this with a sandbox that will NEVER be balanced. Ever.

The Icarus dash did get nerfed where you can't use both dashes at once and have to wait the cool down timer

4 RepliesI say remove all classes, make everyone the same. Same stats, same supers, same abilities, same everything. Then maybe people will finally stop crying because they got outplayed...by someone jumping... But the pathetic tears have been seen, that childish cries have been heard, shatterdive is being nerfed in december, abilities as a whole will be nerfed as bungie says theyre going to focus more on gunplay vs ability play so hunters are dead, again. Ive already switched back to my warlock so i can have all the OP exotics that nobody ever talks about, my titan will be just an extra character for raids if they ever make raids worth doing, and will be letting my hunter collect dust, again. Imagine a game based on space magic, where the entire community begs to have the space magic removed because they cant shotgun ape for free anymore 🙃 if bungie doesnt kill this game in the next 3yrs the community will.

I don’t have much of a problem with it… don’t really die to it too often… Dunemarchers, Lorentz driver and handcannon aim assist I actually think are more broken…

18 RepliesYeah they've nerfed hunter stasis into unusability for pvp. Two melee charges don't kill or even freeze anymore... Shatter about to be castrated... super gets stuck on terrain all the time... Yeah all these crybaby titans and warlocks because they had to actually compete for anything now...

That Preston hit is pretty massive. There shouldn’t be any OHK abilities in the game, they aren’t fun to play against
