Every single pvp match, especially competitive pvp game modes, that has Xbox players (I am on PS5) has terrible connections. Bad hit registration, laggy enemies, you know the stuff I am talking about. It is infuriating and ruins the game mode completely.
Crossplay pvp sucks, and the default setup for it effectively leaves me without a choice in using it. This is unacceptable.

6 RepliesCan`t see how crossplay matchmaking would make a difference on connection issues.

1 ReplyP2P is pure sheyt regardless.

1 ReplyYou can turn off crossplay in Xbox settings

Welcome to Bungie, Where the devs are -blam!- and don’t care about the game

I agree 100% This will be the reason I will move on to other games. MH Rise Sunbreak on PC/Switch will make me leave D2 forever. No toxicity there and Capcom pays real attention to their players (the understand that we are the ones that pay). I only play D2 because I'm above average in everything and most of my friends play it. But when we find another game we agree on, D2 is over.

4 RepliesI believe that may be because Destiny still uses P2P... i am not 100% sure but this may be the case.

2 RepliesI turned it off and had much better connections
-
Still laggy a$$ destiny, but it’s better when turned off.

I turned cross play off the other day thinking it would improve the connections…. Lol it was so bad. It was some of the worst rubber banding I’ve ever seen in a strictly PS lobby. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I had to turn crossplay back on 🤪😜🧐

2 RepliesDo ppl actually play pvp for more than bounties? I find that hard to believe
-
Definitely agree. It’s worst in 6v6, but bleeds into 3v3.

6 RepliesIt's the same for Xbox against PS. The reality is that it's caused by the PS proprietary network. These issues don't exist between Xbox and PC and that's because Microsoft designs the software for both. Sony wants to be like Mac and while they do have great software for PS games and playing against each other it's not suitable for crossplay.

Crossplay should never have happened. Of all the disgusting Bungie mistakes this one is the worst.
-
I play on PC with someone on PS4 in the same room, there's more than half a second of delay between us on the same network... Both hardwired... That's really bad.

2 RepliesConsidering every single PlayStation player I have encountered users nothing but shotguns the whole game and lag when they are being attacked I’d say your talking out of your behind
