Why is there 3 unstoppable and 3 overload but only one barrier?
Doesn’t make any sense and it sucks because auto rifles aren’t very viable.
Edit: Just read somewhere that Arbalest may be getting anti-barrier intrinsically. That would help. I can see giving up a primary spot (using energy ammo) so I could have the freedom to switch elemental primaries in the energy spot.
Edit: anyone notice the special ammo drops kind of sucking this week?
Edit: who cares about anti barrier when you have an Ager’s Scepter and a stasis warlock!

The Unstoppable pulse rifle mod should of been Anti-Barrier. That would have made it more balanced.

Sweet Business is the business for the available mod. I just use a sword on all champions. Unstoppables can be a pain but still easy to kill.

1 ReplyThe restrictions kill it for me. So much good that constantly gets overshadowed by crap like this. I think it’d be cool to treat the artifacts like they treated the super perks in D1. You had to unlock each “behavioral modification” regardless but once you unlock them all, you could choose whatever you wanted It would make sense to pace the unlocks to match the season pass. So when you complete lvl 100, everything in the artifact will be unlocked as well We’re already limited by MW power level so it’ll already be kept in check while giving the player agency It’s a win-win

1 ReplyI’m pretty sure they have mixed up the different champions in strikes. I don’t think there are as many anti barriers in them this season. There seems to be more unstoppables than anything else. So I personally don’t think one anti barrier is as bad as it might of been in seasons past

Easy fix: replace Unstoppable Sidearm with Anti-Barrier Scout Rifle. Nobody uses sidearms for GMs anyway

I just don't understand their fixation with putting champion mods on sidearms. It's literally a death wish to let anything get within sidearm range of you for high level content. And that's an issue that can never be fix due to the nature of sidearms. You could spec every single mod in the artifact to be for sidearms and people still wouldn't use them because how much of a disadvantage it is to use side arms optimally in high level content.

4 RepliesI hope there is a big champion/artefact revamp coming in Witch Queen, I'm getting bored of trying to make a decent loadout so I can fight champions. Or they could just replace them with Hive Guardians, any that we run into in strikes and stuff are just trying to get their bounties done for Hive Zavala.
