Trial labs Changes
Absolutely AWFUL. Bungie how the hell did this get greenlit for labs. You forced us all to play it and its terrible. IT PROMOTES CAMPING with Stag and Citan's Ramparts! This isn't trials this is Camping for noobs. After my first flawless I'm not playing this -blam!- for the rest of the weekend. Bungie you -blam!- up big time with this I hate it. I'm fine with the special ammo change but this is also stupid
If this change was to see if it helps casual players, it doesn't. If they face top tier players or even other teams with stag or Citan's. This is the opposite of what trials should be. The map wormhaven shouldn't be a map because its too big and the middle flag only benefits titans and warlocks especially because of the cover. If anything why wasn't the flag at B or in front of the wall at Heavy????? Those spots are way more open and you have a greater risk since its so exposed. No capture flag should have cover to hide behind while capturing!
The change to Special I enjoy but I also hate.1 It promotes more primary gunplay. 2 when you get revived and have no ammo for your special it means your forced to play with your primary now but you're punished for not having any special to use against the other team now when they are pushing you immediately after reviving. I like the Current change to special more than labs change. Labs is entirely bad all around with one of the worst maps that promotes camping. And thanks to your decision it now official.
I also dislike how you forced everyone to play Labs instead of keeping it on the side and i can guarantee your player base will dramatically drop because of the trash you forced on all of us that came out this weekend. You only did one thing right this weekend and that's not making the Messenger the adept weapon this weekend.

12 Repliesmatchmaking is ridiculous. i have never been flawless, im on a card with 5 wins and about 5 losses (solo) and im matching a team with over 900 flawless runs. im pretty sure that no sbmm is at play here.

But the oppenent always having the point until 4-4 is not really fair. I tried solo and its a nightmare, i dont mind adepting to my teammates, but when both are doing their own thing and i preffer a agrresive playstyle its hard to win with ppl that play too slow especially on heavy rounds. I tried duo's, got really far but fell at the gates, because bungo decided to give us a 1290 for a 3rd against a good team for the flawless match. Essentially making it a 2v3 for us. I tried a stacked team and its the easiest flawless i have ever had.

1 ReplyIt's OK this weekend. Hopefully next weekend they get rid of special ammo completely. Or diaable both shotguns and fusion rifles. I would love to see people try to adapt to something different than what everyone has been running since forsaken.

Please keep in mind this is ONE weekend of 6 months and y’all have been begging for pvp changes/pvp focus, pvp ANYTHING, and literally they haven’t touched pve for once and y’all still aren’t happy.

Wholeheartedly agree, except worm haven is just a dogshit map and it being balanced towards titans and warlocks a bit isn't that bad, I really don't like hunters with their -blam!--dive being completely advantaged, that bump in mid has saved me a bit.

Meh. I dig it. Makes the hardcore peeps have to think instead of rush as the guarding team could team shot together. Only complaint is if you’re down 1-4, but won the last round, flag doesn’t go to middle, it goes to dominant side. My suggestion would be to fight to move it a spot. As opposed to just tie spot in the middle. Lose 1, your spawn. Win 1, middle. Win 1, their spawn. Lose 1, middle again. Something like that. 🤷♂️

13 RepliesThe mode is not the greatest, but it can force a change in play, strategy, loadouts, and even subclasses. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The stag is being used the same as before because it’s been deemed somewhat meta. But I also noticed a lot of Well of Radiance’s, Bubble Titans, and golden guns. In fact, looking back on our matches, I think I saw a lot of subclass variance. More than any time this past season. Kudos to Bungie for trying something new. Not everything will be a slam dunk, but at least they are trying to freshen things up. They can take feedback, improve or get rid of the negative, and keep some of the positive. How about we refrain from tantrums and give constructive criticism though?

19 RepliesThey're experimenting. Let em mess around for a bit. I think we can alll appreciate them messing about and showing attention to PvP finally. I hope that they keep experimenting different ideas to allow a good majority of the players a solid chance at flawless and adept loot. The whole flawless being prestige thing disappeared when hackers invaded and recovs took over the playlist anyway.

I didn't mind the game mode so much. But having said that in week 1 I felt like the matches were pretty good got pub stomped a few times. Last week was waaaaay better and we had an enjoyable time. This weekend we won are first 2 matches and spent the next 5hrs getting pub stomped almost every single match and through the entire weekend have only managed to get to to 5 wins total on a single card. To put things in perspective the previous weekend my team and I cleared multiple cards out on our characters. Mind you NONE were flawless as I've never even been flawless since D1. I totally disagree with the change this weekend that places flawless players in the same pool as those who have not gone flawless. If you go to the light house you SHOULD face other on your level since you actually made it and got the loot. Give others a chance to get there for once. Just saying us non sweating players deserve an opportunity to get to the light house.

1 ReplyI like that they are experimenting with trials. Pretty rough playing solo. But solo players are their own worst enemy. They won't use comms - ever. Such a shame we can't make a culture shift on this front.

1 ReplyIt’s not all bad. I’ll give it that, but I do wish the flag was active a little later in the round. Everything feels like it’s a sprint to the middle then ability spam to get the flag. So atm I’m 50/50 on the changes. Still getting used to the no special on res situation but that’s a welcomed change.

It absolutely ridiculous game mode for solo players and NO COMMUNICATION. BUNGIE has a bunch of Rocket Surgeons working over there. IT SUCKS!!!

2 RepliesI thought you kept the ammo you had when you died, not that you have zero when ressed despite having 2 special before you died. Thats ridiculous. May as well never run a special exotic as a result.
