Vex Mythoclast Drop rates statistic
This isnt my post, all credit goes to Pinnkeyy. This post makes a lot of sense to me at least mostly because I haven't seen anything else that sounds not only accurate but true all around. Dont flame me if you disagree with this info I'm merely sharing what someone who's done the work as come up with.

1 ReplySo that explains why I haven’t been getting back Vex Mythoclast every run on VOG. Bungie needs to buff the drop rate for it and add bad luck protection for the drop rate

7 RepliesOne of my Teammates got his 4th Vex on his 36th complete... it was my 49th and I got my second one. Got a few buddies with 50-55 and don't have it yet. Statistically, RNG is bogus

2 RepliesIt's guaranteed if you kill the secret boss xylar the timeless after killing atheon. But he's really hard so most players just farm it normally.

That being said, the rate is too low to not have a guaranteed drop after a certain amount of completions or some kind of incremental bad luck protection. This has become so annoying and frustrating that my engagement level with e game has been killed, and I’m not the only one. Time gated RNG is SUCH a piss poor, unreasonable reward mechanic. Nothing of merit about it. Just dumb luck. It’s not a measure of ability or experience in any way. It’s just a lottery. Nothing should take this long to get in a game just for the sake of it.

When angry or annoyed, people tend to exaggerate. That 3 minute wait in line at the Costco becomeS “half an hour” The person who almost stepped onto the street in front of you, “jumped in front of you and you barely missed” That small Pomeranian that scares you with barking was a vicious guard dog. And Those 10 completed runs magically become 60+ I’m sure some people with the insanely high counts are accurate. Hell perhaps some are undercounting. But being annoyed you haven’t gotten it yet while a blueberry gets it with you on their first run ever… exaggeration comes into play.

It's not global statistic, just some info from limited amount of players. BreyTech statistic shows that 21% who completed vog have it. It's look like truth to me because I see guardians with vex every day and all of them different people.

4 RepliesHonestly I can't complain, I have BS luck, 1k on first, vex on 4th, tarrabah on 7th, anarchy on 11th, eyes on 32nd, the only weapon that eluded my for a long time was a legendary I wanted a specific roll on..... Bottom dollar..... And recently after 16 resets since it's inception, I got it.
