Thank you for letting us solo players finally play trials a bit, but please fix the matchmaking. How many flawless players in a row do I need to lose against?
Note: Not saying I don't like the mode, I'm having my fun, just saying the matchmaking is a bit skewed and still needs some work.

1 ReplyThey should use the system that was introduced into comp ages back ( not sure if it's still in effect ). When a full team matches solo's or partial team combined with solo player, the alleged ( if you choose to believe it ) sbmm would match these 2 teams so that the best individual player was on the ramdom team. Or that the full teams average skill would be less than the random teams, or than at least the best player on the randoms team. This was like a handicap to factor in the team communication/ synergy advantage factor. I think it could have a place in trials matching somewhere along the card, maybe up until 5 wins or something.

12 RepliesThat’s because a lot of the 3 stacks are backing out of MM until they find solo players.
-
21 RepliesThis was by design folks - a solo squad can’t compete against a 3-stack… Bungie knew this would happen and decided to give their regulars a few weeks of easy lighthouse access… If you play solo…you’ve been had….
-
20 RepliesThing that really gets me... You're up against a 3 stack.. Clearly with loads of experience and then they start Tbagging. Toxic as hell.
-
8 RepliesYes going against stacks is a miserable experience. I'm hoping Freelance gets here, much sooner than later.
-
2 RepliesYea at 6 or 7 wins good luck being a solo player. Constant Flawless/Unbroken stacked teams, and at that point you're just playing to get games done and over with to rank up for an engram.
-
5 RepliesThe idea was to feed you into flawless players. They desperately needed to rejuvinate the existing trials players, now theyve basicly all gotten to go flawless for once instead of grinding against eachother for the gold.

Oh I thought this post was about 🥞 Pancakes . A 3 stack with blueberries and maple syrup. 🤪

Thank you for letting us solo players finally play trials a bit, but please fix the matchmaking. How many flawless players in a row do I need to lose against?
I don’t like being that guy. But I just immediately leave and queue. It’s honestly exhausting to go up against the same sweats running the same builds with their flawless guilds. Life’s too short to be going up against that over and over and over.
-
2 RepliesIt’s kids like you that ruin the game because you somehow think that teaming up with friends gives you a secret damage boost. News flash: “3 stacks” aren’t the issue, you are.
-
Yeah because 3 stacks go still solo hunting because they know it’s easier. There needs to be a solo que to stop this joke.
-
Yes, it's very annoying. I understand the PvP players wanting a bigger player base so THEY don't have to play against better players than them, but we're literally the same. Us bad players want to play against bad players, moderate players want to play against moderate players, good players want to play against good players. Nobody wants to play against stronger players, especially if they're solo. So, everyone PLS stop your whining (on both sides). What Bungie could do is bring a Freelance mode, but you can't get flawless in there. Boom, there you have it. A mode for bad players to play against other solo players, yet if they want to go flawless they'd have to go into the normal mode. Also, any players who rage quit on you should be banned from Trials for that weekend. It's extremely BS ("sorry Bungie about your code on conduct") when you're up against a 3 stack, and then it's 2v3.

I won 7 matchs not consecutively I also lost 6 matches, no complain there. But stcks man, some of them are so toxic Tbag after Tbag and shooting your dead ghost.
-
Well you are playing trials so yeah you’re going to see some Flawless titles in a Flawless playlist….lol And Flawless is no where near as hard as it used to be to get. I’m an average player and I’ll have it too. Not that big of a deal anymore.
-
Lol, you do realize that's usually the best way to win? Play with people you trust and have good synergy with. It's a strong strategy compared to playing with randoms, probably no mic, and never practice in elimination.....
-
Just make your own 3 stack.
-
Just needs freelance so we don't have to vs 3 stacks
-
So after spending WAY too much time getting to resetting the Trials rank (the sword and pulse for the second set of rank weapons are pretty much trash for anyone who was curious), I found that Mythic and Legendary was a nightmare for solo play. I don't know if everyone was jumping on the help a buddy make flawless bandwagon, or if getting higher up in the rank made the MM work differently, but I was just there for the 100 rank not caring what the outcome was towards the end. I would have went insane if I had cared, don't flame me for it the matches were just that lopsided.
-
They didn’t say you wouldn’t face stacks, they said you could solo queue. Teams should face solos and teams should have the innate advantage in a team based game.
-
You need three players for this game mode if you ever want a chance. 3 players together makes trials a joke it’s so easy to beat a team who has no form of communication.
-
Dude. It's almost as if trials was for the past 5-6 years of it existing , a premade 3 man activity. I don't get this "3 stack " idealogy . You can't blame a majority of people wanting to group. This has been the way to play and will most likely stay the way to play for serious trials participants for a variety of reasons. Yes I know freelance trials will come into the game but guess what ? Going flawless in that variant will be the biggest coin flip ever .
-
1 ReplyWut? You can play Trials solo now? I thought that would be implemented much later in season 15....
-
23 RepliesLol look at my recent games, i havent won one game yet. Loving these free flawless for teams
-
At least I'm not the only one. I just played a team where one person had a K/D for the week that was almost twice as high as the number of matches I've won.
-
Maybe... Play in a 3 stack?
-
5 RepliesIt's because 3 stacks are manipulating the matchmaking by backing out of the queue unless they see it jump to 4/6 or 5/6. It pretty much allows them to dodge other 3 stacks and play solos
