there is a solo playlist, change the date to the future. i do it for bounties and stuff all the time.

My favourite is when people try to rush on Arms Dealer or Insight Terminus. I make sure I grab the ball for the mechanic, then spend as much time as possible running around, even backtracking. I made an Insight Terminus strike last 21 minutes the other day by doing this all because someone wanted to rush and started being toxic towards a new player in the team.

Why is speedrunning bad? Not a good idea.

so here's the scenario's, option 1. You've taken bounties into the strike list and your team mate is afk, he noticed you stopping to kill every dreg or shank, and has graciously agreed you and your bounties are more important, he should be attacked for wasting his time and yours, you died because he wasnt "helping you".. option 2. He isn't afk, and he see's you doing bounties and stands at your shoulder "hel..i mean kill stealing" all your aimed at kills, in an effort to assist in your bounties, mob by monster, one by one, going only as fast as you are, wasting both his time and yours while you send him hate mail for killing your kills making it harder for you to complete your bounties. he and you are the same, he has teh bounties also!!! ... noooooo...yours are more important.. this is now competative, he is using better guns =( option 3. he's a speed running -blam!-hole that cares not for you or your bounties, he has no bounties or pinnicles, because he has done them already, the number over his head is mind bogglingly a testament to no lifing the game, he is pulling you forward while you try your hardest to mop up the kills he left for you to "play" with, again whilst you type the hate mail, he basically completes the strike solo adding another one to YOURS and his completion numbers.. probably a faster completion than you've done before. and you are salty mad because the bounties didnt move. option 4. he's considerate player, he doesnt run ahead, he patiently watches over you protecting you while you heroicly finish your bounties... only pulling the trigger if you are in peril, and using weaponry that is so unlethal it only draws your attention to where your bullets need to be, he's a saint, and is there just for your sole benefit... never mind if his wife asked him to empty the dishwasher or ... never mind that, his hard earned playtime is YOURS.. As others have said.. this is a YOU problem. Stop blaming others. Take responsability. Some things that may help. (others have also said) There are various ways to solo que into strikes and nightfalls on all platforms legit. you dont have to compete for kills in any way, therefore you finish MORE bounties.. and FASTER. If you cannot do a bounty drop it and gather another. Use the opportunity to learn and use more lethal gear, the same weapons you use in trials is not what makes a gun lethal in nightfall. Use the time investment to see if you like one perk in preference to another, hey does kill clip work better with rapiid hit or outlaw or does that make it a better pvp weapon, is danger close better than chain reaction in pve, that kind of thing. No matter how you take this, if you que into a matchmade activity with random people, please understand they are much like you playing their game their way, without expectations of you or others, just play, their goals are their own, yours are yours, they owe you nothing. just be a good human. some are middle aged men with families blowing off steam after a hard day, some are children trying to emulate their fav streamer or be better at the game, competing for "their best time eveeerrr", angsty teens getting away from or delving further into drama. all walks all nationalities. all different mindsets. all human, be a good one. editted: to add i am not in defence or denial on the speed running, i can do casual pace or speed, but when i matchmake in the list i just want efficient usage of my real life time, that is the only expectation i have, on MYSELF.

As a speed runner, we don’t care. Join up with friends and get the bounties done, or load up a legend nightfall and do it there. We don’t have to slow down our game play just for you to kill some -blam!-. But overall, that is why we do need a solo option

It's far worse with speedrunning players in Nightfalls, though. Regular strikes are kinda...whatever.. It's annoying but nowhere near as bad as the ones who jump into Nightfalls and don't kill Champions. Racing ahead, despawning Champions or pulling you forward so you can't kill them, as if completing the thing was the only important thing to get the rewards. I will never understand these idiots.

I agree with op & every1 else your elitist mind set is what is ruining this game. Every single excuse you can muster for not doing a simple strike, hell playing the strike or not playing the game the way its suppose to be played is astonishing. Doesnt matter the loot. If you cant work as a team in a strike w/ blueberries. Then its obvious you cant do a end game activity with others either.. , again elitist mindsets as I always mention ruining gaming. I really cant wait for a dev team of any game company to bring the hammer to players who look for the fast way out. Punishing players for not letting others progress in strikes etc. 1 day 1 day.

I'm confusing, you DONT want the strikes to be done asap? Your loot doesn't get better the longer you're there brother
