How do I unlink a steam account without signing in
when cross save was released I linked my steam and Xbox accounts. I never played any games on that steam account but I built a pc recently and want to transfer my save game. The problem is that I no longer have access to that steam account. I don't even know what email I used so I could recover my password. Is there anything I can do?

You can't unlink accounts without authenticating them. Bungie will not link or unlink accounts on players' behalf. If you can't remember the log in credentials then head over to Steam's support site and go through their lost account information process to recover them.
