PC chat "auto-hide" set to off by default
I read in the 8/24 notes that this was done intentionally, but when we turn it to "on" in the settings, it doesn't save and defaults back to "off" every time you log off.
Was this also intentional? Not sure I know of anyone that plays with the text chat permanently on display.

I've noticed this as well, doubt it's intentional. Almost any setting, once changed and saved, should "stick".

Try clearing your Steam Download Cache, this worked for me.

9 RepliesAgreed, every time I log in, I have to turn it off again. I rarely ever use game chat, that's what discord is for.
